Bien situé, spacieux

Résidence proche du centre Mamila et de la porte de Jaffa. On peut facilement visiter la vieille ville à pied. L’appartement est spacieux. La présence d’un lave linge et d’un sèche linge est appréciable. En revanche, la literie du canapé lit du salon n’est pas très confortable. J’ai été très déçue de l’absence de balcon (mentionné dans le descriptif). Le tarif du ménage (obligatoire) est excessivement cher.

AU TOP ! le tarif des appartements est même très bon compte tenu des prestations et de la situation. Ce sont les frais de ménage obligatoires, même si on a pas salit l'endroit en 2 nuits, qui sont abusifs... mais pour la période (août) nous étions AU TOP dans la résidence, avec la piscine intérieure, le jacuzzi, le fitness pour nous tous seuls !

Nice flat, but disappointing

Upscale quality flat in a great location, BUT...failure on so many "little things". Garbage left in the room, some sheets not cleaned, empty holes in wall instead of fixtures, no toilet paper rods, insufficient towels and soap, fuse blows when turn on oven, etc. Approved late checkout, but then cleaning guy showed up at 10 AM instead of 2 PM and we had to fight with the management company. Too bad - with the right management, this could be a '5'

Det er ikke et hotel men lejligheder. Der er ingen service eller rengøring. Hotellet er fint men ikke helt færdigt i detaljen. Der er kun mørklægningsgardiner i et rum. Poolen er fin men overvåget så der må ikke hoppes i vandet kun trappen må benyttes.

Room was lovely as were the spa and main lobby but the apartment lacked some finishing touches. Outstanding location. The reservations were confusing: the telephone numbers given were incorrect, the rental is actually in an apartment building called "Jerusalem of Gold" not "Gold Residence", and the guard initially told us that they took no reservations. The one-bedroom unit was adequate but small; the managers kindly offered an upgrade for a small fee to the two-bedroom unit which was much more comfortable. Fair value

Excellent residential Block

This is NOT a hotel, it is a residential block with a lovely indoor pool, hot tub and gym. The privately owned apartment we rented was very clean and very comfortable. The person who managed our apartment came the next day and sorted the few minor problems we had. The block is in an excellent position, only a few minutes stroll from Ben Yehuda Street and within easy walking distance from The Mamilla Mall and the Old City. Jerusalem is a beautiful city with lots to do and lots to see. We hired a car and traveled to the ancient ruins of Masada and the beach resorts of Tel Aviv, Hertzliya and Netanya. We had free parking at the Gold residence. Our trip was marred by building work which started at 7am every morning so if booking one of these apartments in the near future check where it overlooks, we couldnt go out of our balcony because of the dust.

Il y a de gros travaux de construction juste à côté de l'immeuble. Nous étions réveillés tous les jours à 07:00 du matin par les marteaux piqueurs. C'est bien dommage Je vous recommanderai cet endroit qu'une fois les travaux terminés.

Great Location Awful management company

This is not a hotel, this is a condo rental. That said the building and location are great. This management person is awful. He was rude, late, and couldnt figure out how to charge our credit card. We had to take out cash to pay him even though our card worked every where in Israel. He claimed the room was never used, yet it was dirty. There were dishes and silverware in the dishwasher w/ food caked on them (probably for weeks). The toilet leaked and he claimed it was the cleaning ladies cleaning, but yet a day later it was still leaking. He was non responsive too and generally just rude in dealing with us. There is no one to complain too as he is the company. I would recommend staying here but not under this company. There are many units and other rentals companies. The location is amazing and property is great, but DO NOT use this company to rent.
