"Was a nice place to stay"

"We had a great stay. The place was exactly as described in the listing. Checkin/out was easy and stress free. The host was communicative when I had questions. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook and make meals. I would have not hesitation recommending it to others. The only things that could have improved the stay would be to have wifi and possibly a table or dresser in the bedrooms as there was no place to placing items than on the floor. Thanks for a great stay."

"Wonderful place for rest and beauty. Near a wild life refuge and located between water and prairie. Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly and even hauled the kayaks for our personal use. We will be back. Bunkhouse is a studio. But adequate for two people. It is set up very comfortably and quaintly. And the views are wonderful. Easy drive into town where there are restaurants and grocery stores."

"Small but cozy hotel. I was able to park right in front of my room making loading and unloading easy. Dog friendly hotel with ample space to walk your dog. I had a little trouble with my TV, the owner was quick to respond to my problem. I would diffenitly recommend this place to travelers looking for a convenient place to stay while hunting with dogs."

"Rural country at its best, fit for animal lovers, fishing hobbyists, photographers and those who just need to getaway to de-stress, relax and enjoy nature's beauty. The Bunkhouse is small, cute cowboy & horse themed house with a great view of the lake, countryside and night sky! I loved the shower, kinda spa like! I love the covered clock roadway! It gave me BeetleGuise vibes! "

"This was the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a weekend away. It was spacious inside, with plenty of room for kids to play and everyone to sleep comfortably. We loved the remote location. The kids enjoyed running around outside and seeing the deer in the field in the evenings. We will definitely consider coming back for another weekend get away with our friends in the future! "
