The Kotra Haveli in Udaipur is in a fantastic location, very close to the Jagdish Temple and Lake Pichola. It provides a calm, clean, safe haven, in the heart of the tourist area and shopping side streets.
The restaurant and roof top seating area has amazing views of the City Palace. Breakfast offers a variety of Continental or Indian styles. The Lunch and Dinner menu is great too.
The Hotel Manager is very helpful, as is all the Hotel Staff.
We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Udaipur.

Great bang for the buck. Location is right on the lake with gorgeous views and things are easy to walk to. CON: beds are not the comfiest.

Leela Palace was certainly nice. However, it is an older property that needs some renovation and maintenance. Food was good but not the best on our Rajasthan tour by any means. Service was good but certainly not at the level of the other Indian 5-star properties.

Very good overall. Great food. Chef prepared us special Benne Dosa which was amazing. House keeping by Shalini was spotless. Very friendly and professional reception desk staff. Had a great Diwali celebration night.
