"The staff were very accomadating and friendly and went out of there way to give me a good experience even tho they couldnt speak english. unfortunately this place is right next to an adult entertainment building so i wouldnt recommend this location to families or people who are skiddish of such things otherwise this a great place to stay at on a budget."
"Very unique place if you'd like to see what a retired love hotel looks like. Pachinko machine in the room but we never pligged it in. The room was larger than expected, almost like a studio suite. There was karaoke next door if you wanted to try it! "

"We loved our layover 1 night stay at Star gates hotel with free water for us was a super plus. The rooms are dated but they are super clean and huge for Japan room sizing. All 4 of us got a bed which was opposite of all our previous hotels. Best view of Japan and we will visit and state at star gates hotel again. Staff was amazing and we had them hold our luggage’s while we walk the local shopping mall. "

But for my surprise, the hotel doesn't disappointed at all .
The room is clean and good size for 3 of us with 3 single beds. The view is facing to busy road
Great way to end of our holiday in Japan by the dinosaur reception.
Journey to go the hotel was a bit uncertain as no people there.....
There is nothing in the area so check in in late afternoon just for shower and sleep.
Quite happy for it, will book again when I use KIX for early or late flight. And near distance
