Nice practical hotel worth the high price for a couple of nights, very convenient to Austria Center Vienna. The area is nothing special.

Brilliant hotel with the exception of the restaurant and bar.
We tried the bar one night but were turned away as “too busy” the next night it was closed but we sat there and bought drinks at the restaurant bar ( had to carry them up the stairs ourselves.
The “comfy” atmosphere in the restaurant is basically low level tables and soft chairs to eat from , very uncomfortable and so close together you could join in the conversations over the tables nearby. The waiter was offhand and inattentive. As we ate there the first night nothing would have persuaded us to repeat the experience.
The rest of the hotel was exceptional though.
