Worth every cent spend! From excellent location to convenience, this hotel remains the best value for money in Pretoria! We will, DV, continue to stay there everytime we visit the Jacaranda city.

This was a very convenient and easy location in Lynwood. The grocery across the parking lot was very convenient and made things very simple. I was only there one night but easily could have stayed a week. Breakfast was hot and good and very easy and affordable.

The staff was amazing, as well as the food. The rooms are comfortable - but the bathrooms need upgrading - the showers always leak, flooding the entire place and the silicone in the shower is old and disgusting black like mould.

Over all a surprisingly good hotel to be a 3*. Breakfast is with warm dishes as well as fruit and yoghurt and bread. Used the transfer upon arrival and it worked without issues. Fire alarm sounded one evening several times. One good thing is that it actually works, but since it was caused by smoke in the kitchen I didn’t try eating dinner there. In general friendly staff and clean. Close by a two minute walk to a small shopping center area with grocery, sports stores, and restaurants.

Room 565 had two gigantic roach bugs that I was able to unalive with my shoe. However as I begin to relax for sleep I heard some noise near the floor under the window and saw a small mice go from behind the curtain on the floor to behind the desk. I was not able to sleep in a room with all these pests.

I liked the area the property was in, I enjoyed the night scenary as well and safety of the surrounding area. I didn't like the fact that my room didn't have a microwave and the air-conditioner was of poor quality as it didn't get hot in a reasonable amount of time.

Great location (to visit CSIR, and next to restaurants); generally good condition of room and hotel, but bed was not comfortable - I did not sleep well; breakfast was disappointing - poor service and half of the food options ran out an hour into breakfast; Internet was extremely slow; service appears to have become worse over the years.

The room was clean and comfortable. The wifi worked perfectIy so I could catch up on work. I struggled to set the aircon (so perhaps an instruction manual or a summary of how to set it would help), but someone came to set it for me within a few minutes of me phoning reception. The TV remote's baterries were flat, but it was possible to use the buttons on the TV (old school!). Overall, a very pleasant stay. I was so happy to see the soap and shampoo were bars wrapped in cardboard instead of plastic, well done!
