A true sample of excellent hospitality
Excellent guesthouse, clean, stylish & comfortable . Upon arrival the host Ryan warmly welcomed me, as he made our trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops, restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this guesthouse to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Ryan for going just that little step extra for the guests!

Worst Experience ever
Terrible experience.. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and wouldnt answer the doorbell cause my flight was delayed

Dear Anonymous My sincerest apologies for this mix up. Our manager on duty Sunday waited for your arrival, and there was someone at the property the whole time. When you did not arrive we assumed that you had made alternative arrangements and we even sent a message to Expedia to log you as a "no show". There were no emails or missed calls on our number, so we honestly just assumed that you had not shown up. If you take a look at any of our other reviews across the different platforms you'll see that we pride ourselves on our service, so we would never knowingly not go the extra mile for any of our guests, no matter what the check in time. I apologise that your experience with us was a bad one and I have requested that from our side you get refunded in full. Once again, our apologies. Schoon Huis Manor

Absolutely Splendid!
Schoon Huis was phenomenal - exactly what I needed for my 24 hour layover between Uganda and Australia, and a bit more! The room was gorgeous, exceptionally clean and well equipped - nespresso machine, fridge with cold water and fresh milk, hair dryer, TV, cookies, USB ports next to the bed etc. The pictures don't do it justice, I was in awe of how beautiful the place was as I walked through. I spent some time in the garden, by the pool and in the large living room on the very comfortable leather couches. The whole time I was thinking that I need to get some girlfriends together to come visit! Oh, and the bath was amazing! They even had delightful bath salts ready to use. Also, shout out to Ryan and the staff there who went above and beyond to make this stay amazing! Thank you so much. I am trying to change my return flights so that I can spend some time here on my way home! I have nothing but nice things to say about this wonderful place. Lastly, my departure flight was quite late in the day, and they so kindly let me have a free super late check out so that I could freshen up and maximise my relaxation time. Thank you so much!
