"Very nice place. I would stay here again, but I would make sure I had a room on the 2nd floor. We were on the first floor and it was noisy. Other than that, everything was great."
"I had a reservation at this property thru Expedia. I have to start by saying I am very disappointed with Expedia and the Hotel. I wanted to cancel my trip a day after the free cancellation window ended but a day before the trip start due to medical reasons. When I called the hotel, the hotel was ready to cancel the reservation for small fee or even reschedule for a later date without the fee, but they wanted Expedia to call them since the reservation was thru them. But after I reached out to Expedia, I was told the hotel refused to accept the cancellation.
I am not really sure if it is Expedia or the hotel that wanted to really go with its rule of no cancellation allowed beyond the date, even though I was cancelling the trip before the start. In the end, as a customer, I was the one who lost out.
I will reconsider using Expedia or this hotel chain in future where it feels like a company that prioritizes rules now and no longer a customer first service."
"Everything was very nice neat clean and well kept. The breakfast was a bit minimalistic, but other than that the place was perfect. For the price, I don’t know that I’ve stayed in a better place and I stay in a hotels just about every week for work."
"Me and my fiance pulled off here for the night to rest our heads and the staff was so sweet and accommodating and very helpful for traveling in the future
I wish that we were staying in West Virginia longer because this was a wonderful place to see the lake. There's a restaurant on the premise as well as a wonderful patio. Definitely would recommend this place to anybody traveling!"
Cozy with spectacular views, easy access to I-64, and each end of the NRGNP
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed Cozy and Crooked on the Cliff. The little house is older. but we felt right at home. Quiet and peaceful with a view of the mountains. We especially enjoyed the front deck which was fenced in so that our dogs could be out there with us. I loved the earthy vibe it had, pictures of Morel mushrooms, books about reptiles, and lots of cool rocks. Close to Sandstone Falls. The views are stunning and would be just as beautiful in the fall! Thank you for the peaceful visit."
