  • Glamping at 12 Fires Winery – A Texas Hill Country Escape

Embrace the beauty of the Texas Hill Country at Tent #4 - Trebbiano, a pet-friendly glamping retreat nestled among the vines at 12 Fires Winery. Stay in Comfort, Surrounded by Nature
Your cozy glamping retreat Tent #4 - Trebbiano is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable escape. Inside you will find one queen bed, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glasses, ideal for savoring local wines. While the tents can get warm during peak daylight hours in the summer, our AC units work most effectively once the sun goes down, helping create a more comfortable sleeping environment throughout the night.
Please note, it is prohibited to leave pets unattended inside the unit.

    A Pet-Friendly Retreat
Your furry friends are welcome! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee.

    Adventure Awaits
Explore Pedernales Falls State Park for swimming, hiking, and horseback riding, or hike to breathtaking views at Enchanted Rock. Stroll through Johnson City and Fredericksburg, where boutique shops, galleries, and seasonal farmers’ markets showcase the charm of Hill Country. For a unique experience, visit The Preserve to see wildlife up close.

    Savor Local Flavors
Pair handcrafted wines with wood-fired pizza, charcuterie boards, and our famous Martins Nutz (glazed pecans) at 12 Fires Winery. In town, indulge in local favorites like 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria and Proof and Cooper at the Lumberyard.

**Weekday wine tastings are available by reservation.**

    Unwind Under the Stars
End your day by the fire pit with complimentary firewood, sharing stories and stargazing in the fresh night air. Fires are permitted unless a burn ban is in effect.

    Summer Heat Advisory
During the summer months, temperatures and heat indexes in the area can exceed 100°F (38°C), and Heat Advisories may be issued. If you're traveling with young children, older adults, are pregnant, or have heat-sensitive medical conditions, we encourage you to consider the forecast before your stay.

    Embrace Nature
As this is an outdoor glamping experience, you may occasionally encounter insects or wildlife despite our regular cleaning and preventative measures.

At 12 Fires Winery, glamping is more than just a stay — it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and experience the best of Texas Hill Country. We can’t wait to welcome you.

Note: In freezing conditions, water systems may be drained to prevent damage, which could limit running water access. Please plan accordingly.

Beautiful getaway

My husband and I had an amazing stay. We didn't arrive until later in the night but the host was absolutely amazing and accommodating. Beautiful property and nice getaway from the big city. Will definitely come back and stay again!

This was a very lovely place with lots of potential but when we check in the tent was completely closed in and the AC unit was not running. I messaged but I was told that the AC unit was just to make it “comfortable to sleep”. It was well over 100 degrees in the tent when my 71 year old mother and I arrived. I have stayed in glamping tents before but they always turn the AC unit on before you arrive so it’s not so horribly hot. There were also ants everywhere. My mother and I had to leave to leave and find another place to stay. Overall I would NOT recommend this place.
