"I called the main lobby office before I booked my stay and spoke to Terry. She reassured me that it was very safe since I was traveling alone and being a senior female. Everything was well organized in the lobby and in the eating area, The room was very clean and easily accessible. She made sure I was happy with my room before I brought my things up; checkout this morning was a breeze. I got a breakfast and that whole experience made the 24 hours prior and during so much more pleasant than if I had forced myself to drive straight through, I'd for sure stay there again if I'm near Abingdon, Va. My casual observation of staff and management interactions suggests that everyone works to run a tight ship, keeping things well organized, and supporting each other as a winning team."

"Didn't entirely love the location because it wasn't walking distance from the downtown, but this place is great and a short Uber or Lyft (~$8-12) ride from basically everything. The room, bed, and amenities were so comfy, and I think my shower has the best water pressure I've ever experienced anywhere! I'd stay here again."

"The Heritage Cabin was a very nice rental. Location was in the heart of Valle Crucis, close to Boone and Banner Elk. The cabin is furnished nicely, comfortable beds and beautiful porch overlooking the mountains. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was the fact that there was no WiFi in the cabin which made phone calls and internet difficult. Also many rather steep steps to get up to the cabin from parking area, so be aware of that. Otherwise it is a lovely cabin in the mountains."

"Everything was as advertised. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have a 4WD vehicle and didn’t have any problem with the driveway, but it is very steep."

"We had a family gathering for my 60th Birthday with my kids and grandkids. I found this property and I have to say it was perfect. I have stayed in Boone many times over the years but this was by far the best.Our host was incredible and was so easy to communicate with. The property was beautiful, clean, and centrally located. Every one enjoyed the relaxing environment and they all want to go back.Thank you so much Tammy for being a part of my family getaway and celebration."
