White House Creek, is a newly remodeled 1930s charmer with a large creekside back yard and game cottage. This three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath features new pillow top beds and the finest linens. The bathroom features luxurious bamboo towels and the finest handmade bath and body products made at our sister store beecrowbee just up the street. The main living room has a elegant modern/vintage feel with new furniture and record player and local art. Move to the dining room which seats 6-8 overflowing with natural light and more local art. The large farm style kitchen with all new appliances has everything you need and connect to a sun room perfect for your morning coffee or tea. The second living room is more casual and comfortable with a large sectional sofa and TV. The compleatly remodeled downstairs bathroom offers high end towels and amenities for your comfort. Bedroom one is downstairs and offers a queen bed piled high with pillows and fine linens. bedroom two is upstairs and also offers a queen bed and amazing vies of the Wallowa mountains. French doors open to your own private deck perched among the trees and even more mountain views. Bedroom 3 is also upstairs and features a queen bed tucked beneath a skylight for amazing stargazing. The half bath is also upstairs and features a small water closet and farmhouse sink. Move to the big private back yard and enjoy the creek that runs through the property. Enjoy evenings visiting around the creekside fire pit or playing pig pong in the game cottage. Cook dinner on the new propane BBQ or visit one of our many restaurants all within waling distance. There is a washer and dryer in the basement for your convenience as well as two bikes you are welcome to use.

Beautiful Joseph

We enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. The property suited 3 couples perfectly. We loved the easy walk to town and accessibility to shops.

The heart of downtown Joseph

The location and neighborhood were so convenient. We enjoyed being close to the shops and eateries. The inside of the home was comfortable. The soft towels and bath products were a nice touch.

Very authentic historic house centrally located in Joseph. VRBO listing matches the property. Nicely furnished, clean and comfortable - with good AC too. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

Enjoyed our stay in this cute 1930's home with a beautiful creekside backyard and game cottage. My family loved the convenience of the location on Main St., the game cottage and the lovely deck with mountain views from the upstairs bedroom.

Excellent location

Great stay at the White House. It's an excellent location, walking distance to food & shopping. The lake & hiking trails are within biking distance. Communication with the owner was quick & ready. Very clean home. Be sure to check out the owners store 2 blocks down the street. You'll fall in love with the soap & lotion.

Perfect Location

This is the second time we have stayed on this property and it was just as good as the first time. The old house is quirky and quaint with all we needed. Location is perfect for walking around town.

The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone. It’s a very cute and charming house, we loved the shampoo, conditioner and soap that was provided!!

Perfect for us

Was close to everything. But perfect if you just wanted to get away. Very roomy . We Loved the balcony looking over the mountains with the creek running behind . We really enjoyed our stay. Would choose it again.

Charming Home in a Delightful Location

We stayed here for a girls trip and loved every minute! The location was perfect, the house was gorgeous and full of charm and character. We appreciated the large kitchen for group cooking and the cozy living spaces for relaxing and playing games. The host was responsive and so helpful - even providing local activity options. We would love to stay here again!

Nice to stay in a beautiful part of the country

Great being right in town. Loved having the creek in the back, especially in the morning with coffee. Enjoyed separate living rooms to spread out. Nice having a washer and dryer. Only suggestions: the "game room" could use a refresh and the bathroom curtain needs to be thicker for more privacy from the lumberyard next door.

Jem of a place!

This home was just so fun! The details of this home really surprised me. From the antiques, (brave to have in a rental),books and feel of homie surroundings. The view was awesome! The game room would have been fun with a larger group but, we'll be back to enjoy. Fully stocked kitchen was so appreciated. This home is quaint, and inspires a desire to just relax and take it all in.

Right in the heart of Joseph. House was clean and efficient. We cooked several meals there and it was great. Nice having the BBQ too.

We had a great weekend in Joseph. The house is in a perfect location for walking around town and close to restaurants. Super cozy and comfy beds, pillows, and linens. The locally made soap was nice too. We also enjoyed the record player and records, the creek, and the outdoor seating options. Will responded quickly to questions. We recommend this property and would stay again!

A Quaint House in the Center of Town!

This house was great for 4 of us from the Oregon Nordic Club, close to our other VRBO house. It is quaint, takes you back to the 50s! The beds and the linens were a great touch. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the host to an issue we had. I wish all hosts were so caring! The location was perfect for us.

Enjoyed our stay.

Not as clean & tidy as last year when we stayed. Some of the kitchen handles were sticky, we found a dirty pair of socks under the couch, otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of towels, etc. Love the location within walking distance to main part of town.Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.
