"The location and view of this property was excellent. The staff gave good dining recommendations. The fire pit at night with s’mores was nice. We were given a nice bouquet of flowers at time of check in. The morning breakfast was a bit different. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, cream cheese, yogurt and condiments and pastries. You were responsible to make your own breakfast in the kitchen. "

"My husband and I and our Golden Retriever spent four magical days in September at this unique and most interesting home. Situated at the end of a dirt road, surrounded by forest, perched above a rocky slope leading down to the ocean, there is a feeling of being nurtured and protected from the outside world, yet minutes away from civilization when desired. From the first early sunrise views of land, sea, and sky to the tranquil setting sun at night, the outside scene was captivating, including the haunting calls of loons at night and the hammering of a pileated woodpecker at the woodpile in the driveway. We enjoyed the rustic, comfortable and creative interior that’s filled with eclectic furniture, a vast variety of books, rocks and shells, pottery, and other interesting items that made it an adventure to explore. Right next to Reid State Park, a short drive to several excellent restaurants, and a half-hour to hour drive to other points of interest, the Hall House was a real find, the most unique of many great places we’ve stayed at in our visits to Maine. Thank you, Micah and family, for sharing it!"

"The location on the water is beautiful . The house had all the items we needed. My only suggestion is to check the bed to the left of the stairs, it was not very comfortable Note: stairs may be tricky for some, they are steep but negotiable. "

"We loved the farmhouse! It was a lovely and unique property. The house had such interesting and thoughtful decor throughout, including musical instruments. We especialy enjoyed the birdhouses and feeders. The screened porch was perhaps the best part, followed closely by the inviting fire pit area. The kitchen was well-equpped and had everything we needed. There was just enough room for our family of 4 and we took advantage of the proximity to Popham Beach, which was super convenient. There is a cute general store right down the street as well, which has mostly everything you could need.Erika was so responsive, helpful, and kind. We would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. Thanks for a wonderful visit!"

"The amenities on Travelocity site does not match the amenities Vacasa sends to you after you book. No washer, no (working?) central heating (1 electric oil heater on wheels provided). Safety lists deadbolt lock but only 2 of 5 doors have a deadbolt, 2 doors have no locks or latches. Several windows also don't have locks. We didn't have anyone in our party willing to try the shower but the stains downstairs hinted it might leak. The house is acrossed the street from the water, not on the water. But it does have a lovely view and there is a small sandy beach just down the road. Not many dining options during the week, maybe due to it being June rather than July or August but every restaurant nearby was closed on Mon, Tue, Wed."
