About this property
Noetic House · Hot Tub, Cowboy Tub, Views, 5 Acres
- Summary:
Noetic House takes its name from the Greek noēsis, inner wisdom, and five private acres of North Joshua Tree give you the space to look for some. Large windows and sliders open the newly built one-bedroom to wide desert views. Unroll a yoga mat with a Nespresso in hand, soak in the four-person hot tub, float in the seasonal cowboy tub (closed November through March), then end the day at the gas fire pit on the front porch. Made for two, or just for you.
The Space:
Noetic House is a newly built one-bedroom, one-bathroom home on five private acres in North Joshua Tree, named for the Greek 'noēsis', meaning inner wisdom. Large windows and sliders fill the open design with light and frame wide desert views, while warm wood, linen curtains, a charcoal sectional and earthy ceramics keep the rooms soft and unhurried. Outside, a hot tub, a cowboy tub, an outdoor shower and a gas fire pit on the front porch keep you close to the landscape. With a king bed in Quince bedding, yoga gear and books on nature and stargazing, it is made for couples or a solo stay.

-Outdoor Amenities-
Open the glass doors in the morning and the front porch is waiting, with Adirondack chairs around the gas fire pit and the desert running out to the horizon. The four-person hot tub sits on the terrace beside the house, and out on the sand, the round 6-foot cowboy tub is there for a cool float in warm months; it is a cowboy tub, not an in-ground pool, and it is closed November through March.
Rinse off under the outdoor shower, grill dinner on the gas BBQ and eat at the patio table as the sun goes down. Five acres give you room and privacy, so when the fire burns low, stay out a little longer and let your eyes adjust to the stars.
-Living Area-
The living area is bright and calm, with floor-to-ceiling glass on the desert. Stretch out on the charcoal sectional with a blanket and a book, put a playlist on the Bluetooth speaker, or roll out the yoga mats and blocks on the rug. A singing bowl, crystals and books sit on the shelves for quieter moments, and board games are on hand when the mood turns playful.
-Kitchen and Dining-
The kitchen pairs warm wood cabinets with a stone island and a picture window over the range, so even washing up comes with a view. It is fully equipped with modern appliances and utensils, and spices, cooking oils, coffee, sugars, creamers, tea and Nespresso pods are provided, along with a Nespresso machine, a drip coffee maker and a French press. Take breakfast at the island stools, lunch at the round table for two, and dinner out on the patio.
-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
The bedroom has a king bed with Quince bedding, a ceiling fan, sliding doors to the desert and a smart TV for movie nights. A small wood desk sits ready for work or journaling, and books on desert nature, stargazing and being present are there to browse. The bathroom has a stone vanity and a tiled walk-in shower, and the outdoor shower is there whenever you want one under the open sky.
-Surrounding Area-
