We loved staying here! The room was wonderful and we got takeout from the cafe and ate on our patio overlooking a beautiful view with Joshua trees. The pool and hot tub were lovely and no one else was there. There are trails to walk among the Joshua trees and an ideal overlook. It’s expensive but we splurged to stay for a concert there. The amphitheater is a gorgeous place for a show. Highly recommend and hope to go back if there are special rates sometime!

Absolutely beautiful property. The suites are spacious and convenient with the kitchen and dining and living areas. The location feels very intimate and secluded and Joshua Tree and major shopping areas are just a short drive away.

I can’t really rate the staff and service because there was nobody around…which was kind of the point of this retreat center. It was the perfect place for introverts to retreat.

Great stay. I will definitely be back. I loved the architecture and the setting. The Mentalphysics backstory added an interesting vibe. The only issue I have to report is that I could only get one of the burners on the stove to light. This was in Bungalow K. When lit, the flame was small and it took a long time for the water to boil. But everything else was excellent.

So relaxing. So comfortable. So healthy. So hip!

Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on—even more comfortable than my quite nice home mattress. Great night’s of sleep. Very quiet. Very peaceful. Close to the National Park entrance. I feel amazingly refreshed. And it was a very cool aesthetic to the bungalow as well. Hip but also equally as comfortable. And the staff is very responsive on text. A+++++

The pictures at Hotels.com perfectly matched the hotel property. The landscape around the bungalows is beautiful and the views of the sunrise and sunsets were spectacular. At night, it is so quiet and it made for an amazing place to stay. The bungalow was clean, the mid-century design and comfortable furnishings made our two night stay amazing.
