Summary:
Every room at The Tree House has a door to the yard, and the living room slides open to a pool with a fountain and lights, loungers lined up beneath a vintage-style Joshua Tree sign. Mornings start at the coffee bar and a yoga mat on the patio; afternoons belong to the hammocks and the water. At night, choose the hot tub, the fire pit or the circular tub indoors. Two bedrooms in central Joshua Tree. A new house with an old-fashioned idea: stay home.
The Space:
The Tree House is a new-construction modern home in central Joshua Tree, black on the outside and bright white within. Sliding doors open the living room to a fully fenced backyard, where the pool sits just outside, and both bedrooms, one king and one queen, have sliding patio doors of their own. Inside, a curved white sofa, black poufs, arched mirrors and a marble kitchen island keep the look clean and easy. Two bathrooms include a circular indoor tub, and a chef's kitchen, a coffee bar and a Sonos sound system make it easy to settle in. It suits couples and small groups who want a central base with a full backyard to come home to.

Rinse off at the outdoor shower beside the pool, then set the patio table for lunch under the roofline.
When the pool's fountain and lights come on after dark, slip into the hot tub beneath a Joshua tree for stargazing, or pull an Adirondack chair up to the fire pit and let the evening run long.
-Living Area-
The living room opens straight to the pool through sliding doors, so inside and out feel like one space. Sink into the curved white sofa, put your feet up on a black pouf and queue up a movie on one of the three smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu and more. The Sonos sound system carries the music while dinner comes together across the room.
-Kitchen and Dining-
Start the morning at the coffee bar, with its own mini fridge and open shelf, before anyone else is up. The chef's kitchen has room to cook real meals, with a marble island that seats four beneath pendant lights, open shelves and a sink looking out to the pool. Gather at the wood dining table by the sliding doors, or take dinner out to the outdoor dining area by the pool.
-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The king bedroom pairs wall sconces with a black-and-white art pair and an arched mirror, and the queen room has an arched mirror of its own. The home has two bathrooms, including a circular indoor tub by the window, made for a long soak, and a glass shower with dark tile.
