"...das traumhaft schön direkt am Canal du Nivernais liegt. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen. Das Haus wurde von den Eigentümern selbst liebevoll renoviert, restauriert und modernisiert. Wie groß die Leistung der Eigentümer ist, erfasst man erst, wenn man sich das im Haus befindliche Fotobuch ansieht. So sind Haus und Garten sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Esstisch, einer gemütlichen Couch und bequemen Sesseln lädt zum Wohlfühlen...

"We are really happy with the accommodation provided. Élégant room decor from the Napoléon era period. We got a welcoming arrival by the reception and was so helpful in an issue I had which has been resolved prompt. Used the hotel pool in their garden area. Enjoyed a great breakfast too. Strong WiFi signal and free parking. We have a memorable stay. "

"We booked this hotel last minute and arrived around 10 PM. The owner and his family were very friendly. The hotel is close to A6 Highway, which was convenient. Although the hotel isn't large, we noticed the restaurant was bustling with guests enjoying their meals when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had already eaten, but we definitely wish we could have tried their Indian cuisine! The room was simple yet elegant. While there was no air conditioning, the room was pleasantly cool, and we didn't even need to use the fan provided. Considering the price, this hotel offers exceptional value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay!"

The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty of pleasant restaurants available. "
