"Place is clean but sheets are stained. My biggest issue was the roof was made of aspestos !!! The taps have extremely hot water so expect to burn yourself."

"We are from Australia and travelling around the world by bicycle. We had a lovely warm welcome and made to feel nothing was too much trouble . Very pleased to be able to safely store our two bicycles. We enjoyed all the facilities so much that we stayed an extra night. Very relaxing ambience and we enjoyed our day off the bikes . The kitchen was able to deal with my intolerances and produce delicious meals. Breakfast was delicious too. A big thank you to the wait staff for looking after us so well. Highly recommend!"

"Our first time at Thanda and we loved it . The staff were all wonderful and could not do enough to help. Zeepo and Zee were the best guide and tracker we have ever had on safari . The spa treatments were great and the food , while not fine dining, was really tasty . Really lovely atmosphere and vibe around the place and supportive of the local Zulu communities . We wanted to go back in October but it seems to be fully booked for our dates 😢"

"The tent facilities are great - every reasonable thing has been considered to make your stay comfortable and it is all at a competitive price. Staff are friendly and helpful. The game drives are all led by knowledgeable and friendly staff so even if the wild-life is sometimes hard to find, they do their utmost to keep you informed and enjoy the experience of being in the "bush". A great place to stay for an African experience. It does not provide (the unwanted) 5* accommodation but provides a real feel of what many people would like to find. It was our 5th visit, so that must show something to indicate our approval! "
