"The manager/receptionist is really nice, friendly and helpful. It's just basically a house with 5 bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom, converted into a hotel, but it serves its niche as a low-cost place to stay while visiting Morelia. If it doesn't specifically say there's a private bathroom in the room you're renting, then there's not / it's shared. "The staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the staff were very attentive. The dinners in the restaurant were less impressive as the staff did not seem as attentive as the front desk and the breakfast staff, and the bell hops/valet (all impressive). Our dining times (two dinners) were are only "complaints". All in all - it was a great stay and highly recommend (just dine elsewhere at night)."

"The beds were clean and comfortable with sufficient storage for baggage. The room I stayed needs power outlets, it had only one in the room (for the TV). It also didn’t have a coffee maker which we ask for but then found it challenging because of the only one outlet on top of the tv stand/dresser. The bathroom was ample but the shower floor was poorly constructed. It didn’t slope to the drain and pooled. We had to manually squeegee the water towards the drain with our feet after showering. Their accessibility ramps in their public areas are challenging, fairly steep and slippery. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel in an excellent location."

"Really good location! The place is old, needs a little maintenance. My son got bit by an insect .. maybe spider, the first night. Not a simple mosquito, his arm was numb. Good thing we had some Benadryl with us. We reported to the from desk, and they cleaned and sprayed the room. They don’t provide ice after the kitchen is close. Overall not bad. Staff is not very friendly."
