"Pros: Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Wendlarhof. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von dem Gastgeber, Familie Gehring empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit frischen Brötchen versorgt. Trotz drei Tage Regenwetter konnten wir sehr viel unternehmen. Es gibt sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung, die es lohnt sich anzuschauen. Noch mal vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch von Familie Bosse aus Bad Salzungen."

Vor Ort dann die Enttäuschung - separat abgelegene Terrasse in irgendeinem Noteck ohne Lodge Zugang (kein Hinweis beim Check Inn), Terrasse ohne Beleuchtung, ohne Sonnenschirm und defekter Sonnenliege. "Nice one night stay at Hotel Schlosskrone in Fussen. Very friendly staff at check in. We had room# 146 on the 4th floor. Clean and quiet with a small terrace and A/C. Very good breakfast provided. Hotel is across from the pedestrian zone in the Altstadt which has many restaurants, cafes, and shops. Parking available for €12 per day. We asked for the Fussen guest card at the front desk which we utilized to take the bus from the HBF a few minutes walk away to Neuschwanstein Castle for free."

"Loved the property - staff not so much. Reception staff was friendly then disappeared. Even though there was a bell to ring - no one showed up. This was a Tuesday evening around 8 pm. We waited and waited and other people waited and just grabbed a key to check in. The restaurant on cute great food but again the waiter was not fruendly"

"Really enjoyed my stay here. Great amenities with a wonderful pool and spa. Amazing views including castles & lakes. Modern rooms that are styled well and have comfortable beds. As I was doing a road trip, while parking is limited, there is some available. Didn’t care for the Lisl buffet, but ordered à la carte, was tasty. Close to lots of walking trails and castle/museums."
