We had a very enjoyable stay at Gite Four a Pain. The accommodation was clean with excellent facilities and plenty of room for a couple. Our particular favourites were the generous welcome pack, the great shower, the wood burner and, of course, Max the donkey. We hope to visit again soon.

Charm Comfort and Peace

Delightful gite, very comfortable with very responsive and kind hosts. We really didn’t want to leave and would definitely recommend this little slice of heaven to anyone seeking charm comfort and peace.

A beautiful gite in a fabulous location, very well equipped and perfect for our stay. Great communication with the host and spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome pack on arrival. A very laid back escape in stunning Normandy, we wish we could have stayed longer...but we will be back. Thank you

Phenomenal attention to detail, including lovely welcoming treats! Paul has carefully considered the needs of his guests and accommodated them all. Most vacation rentals lack some important amenities, but not Paul's. We were amazed at just how well it was furnished and how spotless it was. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area - which is beautiful. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the bedroom was on the ground floor for us old people, but that wouldn't keep us from staying there again. Thank you, Paul!

De plek waar de woning staat is echt uniek. Alles was aanwezig, een fijne gastheer met leuke tips in de omgeving. Wij hebben 12 prachtige dagen gehad met veel afwisseling en een fijne slaapplek om tot rust te komen. Op de eerste dag staat er zelfs een ontbijtje voor je klaar in de koelkast. Paul, bedankt voor de mooie tijd, we komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Ein herzlicher Empfang, eine hervorragend ausgestattete Gite, herrlich ruhig gelegen und dennoch in wenigen Minuten in Mortain zum Einkaufen oder Essen gehen - da bleiben keine Wünsche offen! Danke Paul!

Séjour très agréable dane le magnifique four à pain de Paul. Un havre de paix dans un écrin de verdure. Une attention rare de la part de Paul qui accueille avec une grande attention. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Le logement est très agréable ( murs en pierre ) et très bien entretenu . Les petites attentions d’accueil sont super sympas , et l’équipement est complet ( il y a même un vrai four , assez rare ! )Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour agréable et au calme .

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par les petites attentions à notre arrivée( pain, croissants, beurre, fromage, vin) tout ce qui est nécessaire pour les pour les premiers jours. Les produits d’hygiène, lessive… Nous sommes contents et ravis par ce séjour.
