"The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a small breakfast included which consisted of toast, egg, fruit and coffee / hot chocolate. The hotel is in the country so there isn’t much around. It is next to the river and close to the dam. There were a few restaurants a short drive away. "

"The photos are deceiving, it is a truck stop. It was going to be okay but after getting food from the 7/11 there was a swarm of ants carrying a larger bug towards the patio door. Definitely felt it confirmed the state of the hostel. The price reflected the quality so can't complain too much, just wish the photos illustrated the rooms/building more authentically. "This was an absolutely great find. After traveling through Thailand for about three weeks and experiencing all kinds of different hotels, this was like stumbling into an oasis. The property was clean, the room was large and modern, and it had a balcony with an great view to boot. The woman at the front desk went above and beyond. She helped us set up a private boat tour of the lake, as well as arranging taxis for us throughout our stay. Would 100% stay here again."

We booked a room in 88 fine hotel and was expecting to sleep in one of the detached rooms as per photos in the booking- however we stayed on the second floor of the black elephant boutique. The stairs are very steep- so would recommend when booking to book first floor if needed! Other than that- room...
