Peaceful Beauty

Very nice location next to ocean. Pretty location with great uncrowded pools and hot tubs. Landscaping was top notch.Condo was clean and had all the necessary amenities.We had a wonderful time.

Great little spot overlooking the ocean. The unit has everything you need. Owner was very nice and responsive. Loved being able to watch the sunsets right on the patio!

Perfect for waking up and walking out the back slider to the beach. We cooked most of our meals at the condo and a great location to explore the island. We had a wonderful time

We enjoyed this unit at Papakea very much. So gorgeous to watch the water and sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking.

Perfect West Maui

A wonderful stay!! Actual ON THE WATER location cannot be beat. Sunsets every night, followed by a short walk to the food truck court, grocery or shave ice. Kitchen is well stocked as well. Papakea Resort is a well tended property, and the beach walk on Kaanapali starts just south of your door.

Family vacation

The property was everything as advertised. The view was spectacular. The unit was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. Communication with owner was outstanding. Look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful location

This unit is right on the water and we sat and watched the whales all day. Papakea is a nice little resort. The people are friendly, the pool and hot tub are clean and a nice alternative when the ocean water is too rough. My husband enjoyed the little putting green and used the putter than was available in the unit.

We have stayed at Papakea every year for the last 10 years. We love the facility. It offers wonderful views and this is also the first time we stayed in a front ocean view unit. Loved it!! The owner communicated with me and it made it even more special. We will be back PapaKea!! You can count on it

Loved this place!

Everything you need for a wonderful time in Maui is here. We didn't even want to go out anywhere. Just hung out mostly and enjoyed the resort pool & hot tub and awesome sunsets right in our backyard. Everything in good working order. Did have a problem with the washer but finally figured out the lid was a little misaligned and not closing all the way. Pushing it down on front left hand corner did the trick. Other than that our stay was great!

Great location

This is a great location, just 20 steps to the beautiful Pacific. The bed was comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, the sofa is comfortable. Ice maker works. Unit was very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent. However, the unit needs some updating. The window air conditioner went out on Friday. It was looked at but not fixed or replace. I do understand that this could take some time. We left on Tuesday minutes before Lahaina burned. We have been to Maui over 20 times but probably won’t be returning. So sad.

Perfect Stay

Of all the condos at Papakea resort, THIS is the one you want! It is a ground floor condo that faces the ocean. There is no sand but there is a 25’ wide strip of beautiful lawn between you and the ocean. The vast ocean view is absolutely unobstructed. There is an infinity edge black rock wall from the edge of the lawn that drops down to the ocean, preventing erosion. We had a very high tide one day and the waves crashing against the wall sprayed about 10’ feet up in the air. It was magical. A lovely beach with a big shade tree is about a one minute walk over a quaint, bridge walkway. The condo itself was very comfortable with everything one could possibly want. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the kitchen was the most fully stocked I’ve seen and the couch was very comfy as well. Excellent wi-fi, big TV, quiet ceiling fans in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. We propped the front door open as we’d seen others do, to take advantage of the cool island breezes that came through from the front to the back of the condo and we never turned on the AC. We did not want to leave and we WILL be back!
