"This is a beautiful location and charming property. The staff are attentive and friendly. The grounds are lovely. However, the amenities mentioned on the listing were not available during our stay. We had no wifi or toiletries. After requesting soap and bottled water, we eventually did receive those. Lastly, we requested breakfast for 7am the night before but were not served until about 8:30am. "I've stayed twice now at The Prince Charles Hotel. It is a really nice new clean building, with comfortable beds. But it's in an odd location far from almost everything (it was close to a residence I was visiting). But it's so quirky- some rooms have no external windows. There are usually no hangers in the wardrobe, or available at reception. In your room you can hear everything echoing in the hallway. "The staff here were super friendly from the manager to the housekeeping staff, we felt very safe here. The rooms are a bit rough and ready and there was no hot water but this is central Lusaka and the price was good. The bed was comfortable and there was nice seating outside the rooms. There is a big mirror on the ceiling above the bed which was a little strange but everyone here was very nice, we would stay here again if we needed a cheap stopover in Lusaka."
