    Our home is perfect for family vacations with its six living and entertaining areas and is conveniently located within driving distance of central Kona!

    In addition to the pool and hot tub in the gated front yard, on the main level you will find the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A great feature of the home is the very large, covered lanai with its living and dining areas where you can watch the famous Kona sunsets, breaching whales in the winter, and parasailers all year long. The house is close enough to the water that you can hear large surf in the early morning and will lull you to sleep at night.

    Spacious guest rooms are found in the home with the following sleeping arrangements:

    Main level Guest room 3: Bunkbed and pull-out trundle with four twin size beds
    Downstairs Guest room 4: King size bed

    Split-zoned A/C units are available in bedrooms along with ceiling fans in every bedroom and living area help carry the already cooling breezes from the ocean. Guests will appreciate the short drive to downtown Kailua-Kona where outdoor dining, ocean adventures, and beautiful beaches await!

    Other things to note
    - Locals (Big Island residents) must get approval from listing host prior to booking.
    - County mandated quiet hours are 9pm to 7am. Our backyard is equipped with noise monitors and we ask that guests respect our peaceful neighborhood and not disturb adjacent neighbors.
    - We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase travel insurance to ensure protection in the event you feel the need to cancel for any reason.

I brought 5 guys over for a Hawaii golf trip, this house was perfect for what we needed! Every room had their own AC, it was very clean and updated. The host was very responsive and welcoming as well. We would definitely come back!

Great location for a family vacation

13 family members ranging from age 2 to 85 stayed here for more than a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The pool area is great. Kids had a lot of fun and it is enclosed so easy to supervise for the adults. The view over the ocean is amazing. Great sunsets almost every night. The place was clean and well stocked. Definitely would stay again if visiting Kona in the future.

Family vacation in Kona

This home was booked due to its nice location to sites all around Kona. The rooms were all clean with room for family members. The hosts thought of everything for family fun such as games and water sport equipment. The view off the deck was awesome for sunset viewing. I would recommend for any family events.

Great place for a big family

The property was beautiful, clean and really spacious. We had a family of 15, with 2 infants and there was plenty of space for everyone. Lots of parking for our rentals. Contacting Tin and Linda was very easy. When we had any issues or questions, they responded pretty fast. Location of the property was perfect. It was close to essential grocery stores, gas stations and minutes away from the downtown area with restaurants. Highly recommend this property, especially if you have a huge family. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beautiful lanai views.

Delightful stay

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Tin and Linda's beautiful home. The property is just was described. We were a family of 10- with ages ranging from 3-years to 70-years. Lots of larger spaces to gather together (on the west-facing lanai and by the pool) and smaller spaces for quieter chats and reading. The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. Even the professional chef who came by to prepare our big celebratory dinner was impressed with the layout of the kitchen. It was easy to get to other parts of the island. Local grocery stores were close by. Downtown Kona was a 10-minute drive. I highly recommend this property for any family gathering or large group.

This property is amazing. The view in the back looks like a perfect painting. I love that the pool is in the gated front yard. They have beach chairs and a bunch of kid floaties/beach items. Everything you can possibly need in the kitchen. Enough towels to last and even if it doesn’t, a washer and dryer is downstairs! We had 13 people and enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Walmart and shops are a short 5-10 mins away. I will note that there is a strict quiet time starting at 9pm, or the neighbor will contact the host. We were sitting in the lanai and didn’t realize it was 10pm, but the neighbor quickly let us know themselves lol. The hosts did let us know about this before hand, so we weren’t really surprised! The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. I’d definitely come back.

We had a great time celebrating our 40th anniversary with our children and grandchildren. We had a group of twelve. The house had great views, plenty of bedrooms, a fun pool and spa and even beach chairs and toys the kids enjoyed. The neighborhood was quiet and easy parking in driveway and street. The location was awesome as we enjoyed activities nearby as well as driving north, south, to Hilo and Volcano’s National Park. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and breeze on the lanai were great. It was very nice having plenty of bathroom and beach towels and shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom. There were plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper and dishwasher soap.

Comfortable stay with a beautiful view

Back deck area was large enough for all 8 of us included a beautiful view. Bedrooms were cool and comfortable for sleeping. Garage had plenty of beach toys umbrella and beach chairs. Kitchen was very well appointed. We enjoyed the pool fire pit and bbq grill. We did purchase a Thermacell for mosquitos. The kitchen and indoor living space was very warm even with opening the doors (July). The most negative of the property is the walkway; it is over lava rocks. Dangerous for anyone with balance issues. The property is in a great location. We enjoyed our vacation.
