All amenities were in working order and clean. My only suggestion is that at some point the property should consider adding a hot tub. It's an especially nice feature to have when coming out of the pool.

Second time we have stayed here and it is by far my favorite. It’s a bit out from down town but there is a wonderful little market right out side the gates. I love that they have 2 pools one fresh one salt.

The condo itself is perfect for a couple. Beautiful big bedroom & bathroom, nice kitchen with everything we needed, and a cute living room with a nice size tv. The balcony view is absolutely beautiful. The facility is really nice. Salt water pool, regular pool, sandy beach area, convenient laundry room, plenty of common areas, grills, books & puzzles. And it’s nice that it’s a gated community. The beach area provides perfect sunset viewing.

Clean, quiet, convenient, 2 miles to the Kona pier, and on the waterfront. However, management is tight with access and use of bedding and towels, and lack of parking in the secured area is limited and thus, problematic.

The property was gorgeous and they kept up the grounds really nice. The condo on the other hand was satisfactory. We ran out of a lot of things and had no way to launder the towels because they had locked the washer and dryer.

The property was great and very relaxing. Note if you use a CPAP there is no outlet next to the bed. Luckily I travel with an extension cord as you had to run that across the bathroom floor to an outlet on the wall by the shower. Also the vanity lighting is a “glow” at best. I thought I’d not turned the light on at all it was so dim. Again I travel with a lighted makeup mirror and did my make up at the bar where there’s nice bright lights. This unit also needs to be listed as a “garden view” as it’s necessary to lean out over the railing for a sliver view of the ocean. The garden was a nice view though. We really appreciated the quaint and quiet of this property.

Recently, my husband & I stayed at a condo name Casa De Emdeko in Kona, Big Hawaii Island for 18 days. It was a clean and beautiful place where we were able to relax, unwind and rejuvenate while exploring the island. We loved the view from the lanai, cool air from the air conditioner, and the beach chairs & the cooler, for a beach picnic, that were available in the condo. The gorgeous sunset scene from the white sand area, near the ocean, at the condo was memorable. We appreciate the prompt communication via text from Emily. We'll definately visit Casa De Emdeko again next time we travel to Big Hawaii Island. James & Eun

This property was exactly as it was advertised. I was nervous because it didn't have that many reviews, but everything went fine. I was concerned about parking due to the small lot and construction, but the complex seems to have worked out a deal with the adjoining shopping center and so parking was not a problem.
