Relax on the Kona Coast in scenic Kailua-Kona, this vacation home features oceanfront views and is perfect for a family or group of friends.

Kona Reef is next to Honles Beach and is blissfully tranquil. Enjoy being close to the iconic Alii Drive and downtown Kailua Village where you can enjoy local restaurants, shopping, and more. Kona Reef is in a terrific location. The panoramic ocean views from your private lanai are breathtaking. You will be able to enjoy beautiful sunsets and the stunning Kona Coast.

This one-of-a-kind three-bedroom, three-bathroom property, with stunning oceanfront views. Enjoy your large lanai with ample seating to relax and listen to the ocean.

Upon entry, this property has a guest room with a queen bed and a guest bathroom with a bathtub and shower combination located off the hallway for privacy.

Cook up some dinner at home in your fully stocked, and upgraded kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Relax at the built-in breakfast bar or have a sit-down dinner. The dining room boasts a dining table for a sit-down dinner for six. There are large sliding glass doors that are located off the dining area to the lanai.

The open layout of the dining room that flows out to the living area allows ample space. There is a smart television and couches for a comfortable living space. There is also a desk for a great work area. You can stream your favorite show, watch cable, or go old-school and watch some DVD favorites from the collection.

There is a guest room off the living area with two twin beds. The guest bathroom is located off the hallway for guests. In the hallway, there is also a washer and dryer.

The primary ensuite is located down the hallway which allows ultiamte privacy. The large room has a seating area, king bed, and television. The bathroom has a stand-alone vanity and a tiled shower. The primary bedroom also has a split air conditioning unit.

The lanai that is off the living area and dining room has a table and seating to relax. Enjoy a cup of Kona coffee and watch the waves roll in.

Fantastic Ocean View

Condo was spacious. Best attribute was large porch overlooking the pacific and hearing the waves 24/7. Condo is dated and appliances are old. and was sort of dark inside. Great location and easy walk to dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars. 15 minutes from the airport. The location could not be any better.

Catching the sights and our breath

Ideal location, so easy to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Clean property with well stocked kitchen facilities. Quiet area with only the relaxing sound of the waves. Pool and hot tub are also clean. Only thing that would have helped is to label the switches. The track lights in the master bedroom and fan in master bathroom were not working.

Great family time

Great condo, for us and our two grown boys and their girlfriends. The location is great for walking into town, great patio to watch the sunset and totally enjoyed the pool/hot tub/grill area.

Ocean front Kona dream vacation

Kona Reef was the perfect accommodation for my family: myself, spouse and 3 adult women, The view is fantastic. Sunsets and morning coffee was beautiful. The condo is easy walk to shops and restaurants. Condo was clean, well appointed and very conferrable.

Relaxing stay

Roomy condo had everything we needed. Amazing view, great location, comfortable inside and out on the lanai. Really really pleased. Even a nice desk if you HAD to work. Good beach accessories stashed in the closet: noodles, mats, chairs, boards, umbrella, cooler, fins and goggles too. I should re-book for next year now that I think about it...

Fantastic oceanfront location!

Condo comes with everything. Snorkeling nearby everyday, followed by a short walk to town for fabulous food, drinks and sunsets. Don’t miss the Kona Inn, best Mai Tai’s! So much to do there.

Family vacation filled with fun!

We had a marvelous time on the big island! The beautiful and roomy condo made it easy to relax after a busy day. Thank you for having beach towels, ice chests and even a big beach umbrella! With the purchase of a few groceries it was perfect! Great kitchen, big bathrooms, and we enjoyed the large lanai!

Great location next to ocean. Had a great stay. Only complaints were 1. The bathroom vent in the bathroom near the washer/dryer was plugged with dust and needs to be cleaned. 2. In the letter for incoming things to be aware of, it stated there was an “outdoor hose” to use to wash off beach sand. It would have been helpful to know exactly where it was and it was to locate.

Great family get away!

This property was the perfect feel and location for my husband, myself, two adult sons, and daughter-in-law! Enough space for everyone to both share time together and privately. This beautiful condo had all the beach items and cooking equipment for our every need. Kona Reef

Fabulous location, incredible view of ocean and wildlife. Walking distance to everything! Condo was perfect with the exception of sub par air conditioning. First day was the worst as it was really hot in the unit. If you need really cool AC this may not be the spot for you. We had a fabulous time!

You are paying for the location and the view. The rest is equivalent to a two or three star hotel. My opinion is the bare minimum is done to keep things going to maximize profit.The mini split ac is a bit of a joke. It is hard to feel any air flow at the required 72 limit. The fans help it not to feel stuffy. The lanai is awesome the rest not so much.

Great view

The condo has a wonderful lanai and view of the ocean. Loved hearing the ocean all night. There are several light switches that dont operate anything and several lamps/lights that dont work off a switch. The AC in the dining room wasnt working in the dinning room and we had a repair guy in the unit for several hours and it couldn't be fixed. We also had the water shut off for an entire day. The pool is nice. Parts of it are dated but overall its a clean, quiet nice place to stay. The lanai is worth staying here for. The unit was stocked with books, family games, beach necessities etc. The kitchen is very nicely stocked. The unit is a nice place to stay and I would absolutely stay again.

Family Trip

This property has the most amazing views!!! Watching the sunsets every night on your own private lanai was awesome!! Only complains I had was the AC broke in the middle of our trip and trying to get a property manager to fix or help seemed to take forever. AC issue was never resolved. Also after our 1st night the circuits in 2 of the 3 bathrooms weren't working. Let property manager know but no follow up. Besides that the place was perfect for a family of 5.

Best location ever!

Our family loved this condo. The location is the best on the island. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening on the lanai. The condo is very well-equipped, from the kitchen to beach accessories. The only criticism I might have is the air conditioners. It was very warm and humid when we were there and the units had a hard time keeping up and really didn’t cool very well. This wasn’t an issue during the day, but it was very warm at night. There are several fans in the unit so we were able to move them around and cool it down at night. We will definitely rent this unit again!

Beautiful location. Needs an update and cleaning

This property needs an a really good cleaning and update. Carpets are very very dirty. Outlets in two of the bathrooms do not work. Other things were also broken-lights and blinds. Home is dark at night time. Dining fan can not be turned on without the light and the light and fan cause a strobe light effect which is not good on the eyes. AC was broken -property managment was help with this issue and gave us a discount. Could not find parking pass for two days. The patio and view is beautiful and window view of the ocean is also nice. Management company is good to work with.

Family Vacation

The overall stay was good, but we did have some issues during our stay. The hot water went out, but that was fixed within a few hours. The microwave would work intermittently and that was crucial for feeding the 1 and 4 year olds! We were told that someone would come to fix it, but the microwave remained broken throughout our stay. There was no additional effort made to fix the microwave during our stay. As for the condo itself, The location is excellent! The view is amazing! But, we paid A LOT OF MONEY to stay here so I expect everything to be in working order. Also, when you walk into the condo there is a damp, musty smell that is in the carpets and the bedrooms. The ocean mist has definitely settled in!

Perfect location

My whole fam stayed here for spring break. My hubs and i had the front room, my sister and BIL had the master, and my mother and niece shared the room with the split beds. And every pair has a bathroom near them. It's withing walking distance of the boardwalk and Kona Inn shopping center. I recommend renting a car but you can walk along Alii drive to get to lots of places. We left reuseable bags to use on the island bc they've banned plastic bags and you'll have to buy reuseable ones at the store otherwise. This includes Walmart, Target, etc. I will say there are lots of light switches and we had to figure them out but we got there. Also the appliances are new and smarter than most. There are instructions for the stove/oven and it took a couple tries for the diswasher. The lanai (balcony) is prime sunset viewing and also a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. 10/10 would recomend
