Steps away from Kona Magic Sands Beach

Rate are $199 per night. A one -time cleaning/maintenance fee of $130 will be made. Minimum 3 night stay.

Comfort- No hot humid nights- New modern Air conditioning from the roof top, controls one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. It is open design ,the bedroom is not totally separate from the kitchen.

This luxurious, absolute ocean-front corner unit is perfect for your special romantic occasions, however, it will sleep four. This is not a studio unit, most of Condos in Kona Magic Sands are 400 sg ft, this large 3rd floor corner wide open unit is 660 sq ft. Privacy, security & sunset views are all yours for your vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii. The unit has a fully equipped view oriented kitchen, living room, with sliding glass doors that open to the ocean - where Whales, Dolphins, Green Turtles and a myriad of colorful fish can be seen most days. The bath has a tub & shower. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors invite the outside in, creating a spectacular indoor environment.

The kitchen has a large refrigerator/freezer, the oven is a convection/microwave, the stove has 2 burners and there is a dishwasher.

Common areas of Kona Magic Sands Condos are well maintained and clean, has a pool, BBQ (propane) , grounds, individual parking space, laundry room which has 2 washers. Machines take quarters, 4 quarters per load.

Keauhou Shopping Center is 3 miles south on Alli Drive. There is a Kita Grocery Store, Pizza Parlor, Longs Drugstore etc.

Amazing location & views!

Comfortable, convenient, great location, amazing views. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, including a great beach next door and a restaurant on-site. We loved watching the sunsets and dolphins swimming by.

Great Location

We enjoyed watching the sunset, numerous whales and dolphins swim past everyday. This location is a little out of town and right on the beach, easy access to wherever you want to go for the day. Unfortunately, there was construction going on both below this unit and next to the pool. The condo could use some TLC and more comfortable furniture.

Great Ocean View

When booking this unit I wondered a little bit about the lack of a balcony. As it turns out, this corner unit with floor to ceiling glass and large sliding double doors on two sides create a wonderfully open space with great views and soothing breezes. It was almost like staying right on a balcony. The active surf below provides all the ocean din anyone could want. We found the unit clean, well appointed, and well stocked - at least for our needs. If our journeys ever bring us back to the Big Island I would definitely book this unit again.

Clean and comfortable condo. Bigger than we thought it would be. Great location for nearby beaches, snorkeling and visiting Kona. We could see the beautiful waves and fish right from our balcony. Amazing sunsets.

The exterior glass walls gave us a magnificent view of the ocean as well as the beautiful park to the north! The mirrors made it seem even larger with ocean views in every direction! The property was well stocked with everything imaginable for our extended stay. Hope to stay there again some day.

Fantastic home base on the Big Island

The views from the condo were even better than we had dreamed. There's more than enough room for two, and everything was clean and functional. We loved the convenience to Magic Sands Beach & the fantastic Magic's Restaurant next door, and the central location was perfect for exploring more of the island. Mahalo for sharing this sweet spot!

Magic Sands stay

Nice location. Studio unit. There is a popular beach next door (although watch your time of year since the sand "disappears" exposing rock). We enjoyed the restaurant/bar attached to property. Some construction noise during our stay, but it wasn't too bad since it was at the other end of the building. Pool is very comfortable temperature. View from unit is directly to the ocean and very nice!

Wow what a spot

Location, location, location. I doubt there is a better view from anywhere else on the Kona coast. Directly down from our third floor corner room we watched fish swimming in The waves every morning. White sands beach is steps away and the host provided everything we needed for swimming, snorkeling and lounging on the beach. The place is a little old and shows its age, but I wouldn’t let that deter me a moment from coming back. Absolutely fantastic!!

These were the best two weeks ever! This is the perfect place, the view, the location, and the magic! Best vacay ever! Great Condo for a Kona Getaway

Very clean, comfortable, private, well-equipped and spacious condo! The floor to ceiling windows made you feel like you were right on the water! We watched humpback whales breaching offshore. The beach adjacent to the property was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun and water - seeing the sea turtle in the surf was a special bonus! Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

The roar of the ocean!

Ted's place is awesome and exactly as described. If it were any closer to the water you would be wet and right next to one of the best beaches on the island. The grill had decent not great food but was perfect after a 12 hour trip from Boston. We will absolutely stay on our next trip to Kona. Thanks for the memories Ted.....

Short stay in May

This place is very spacious (being on the corner). It had everything we needed to visit the beach. Cooler, chairs, towels, etc. We only stayed a few nights, but the reserved parking space was very nice and the beach next door was perfect for afternoons. A major grocery store is just mins away via car. Lots of windows let you watch the ocean, and fish activity.

Right on the Ocean

We had a nice stay at the Magic Sands. The property is right on the water. You could hear the crashing waves the entire time. Ted was very communicative and helpful, as was the property manager. At check in, the place had not been cleaned but the property manager sent someone over as soon as possible that night to get clean linens in. The following day another person came to properly clean. Once all this was settled we really enjoyed the location right on Ali'i Dr. It was nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards to use during our stay. We would stay again.

Amazing views and location

Bed very comfortable. Location is perfect near beaches and kona. Needs some repairs to lights in kitchen as makes difficult to use kitchen early and late in day. Lack of working roller shades is a negative.

A dream vacation waking up by the ocean

Wonderful holiday thanks to this amazing apartment right on the ocean. The apartment is exactly as described and the host provides everything you need for a vacation by the sea.(Thanks so much Ted!!!) The location is perfect, so close to the beach, and to Kona, which is great! you can buy groceries at the supermarkets, enjoy the restaurants and shops, and walk around downtown. It is very convenient if you book tours because most of them have a stop nearby the Kona area. We totally recommend it and we will be back. Thanks for all Ted, we have had a wonderful vacation! Pictures do not do the view justice

This is a beautiful place. The pictures undersell the property. The view is unbelievable and you can really see yellow tangs in the water from your room. The beach is right next to property and it was a fun beach with snorkeling. The room was clean and well stocked. There were a lot of beach toys also. Great place!

Had a issue on first night with oven, because of time difference between Hawaii and Canada I was not able to get anyone that night. But in the morning owner did contact us and fixed issue. Great location, 5-star view, had everything anyone could need.
