Ocean front- Nestled between Historic He`eia Bay and Keauhou Bay- Kinohi at He`eia

Welcome to He`eia Bay Hale. Comfortable and bright, this house and guest cottage has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the main house and two queen size sofa beds and bathroom in the guest cottage. Back to the kamaaina style hale (house) that offers a private pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor shower, large yard, sits up on the bluff- on the edge of He`eia Bay, the favorite surfing spot of the Ali`i. Very private and quiet, it is a place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves.

Nestled between Historic He`eia and Keauhou Bay a short walk to get to the beach and experience the warm waters of Kona. There are options for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, (we have them for your use at the house!) or booking a Manta Ray dive off Keauhou bay. We have a guidebook full of recommendations for your visit.

My family and a couple friends had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was comfortable, private, and had a lot of amenities you'd take for granted at a hotel or resort. It was also conveniently located near a main road and grocery store. Highly recommended.

We loved the house, it suited us perfectly with 10 adults and 4 kids. The bunk beds were great. Beds were comfortable. The yard and pool kept the kids so busy, it was enjoyable for us to watch them. The volleyball net was a bonus, we had a tournament which all of us partipated in. The kitchen and dining room table was perfect. And all the patio tables outside was enough room for all of us.We would definately return in the future. Thanks so much for everything.

The sunsets were amazing from this property. I truly enjoyed watching them every night. There were 13 family members staying at the house and there was plenty of room. Being my 60th birthday, my husband and I had the master bedroom. I thought it was fantastic, especially the lanai. Nancy was quick to respond with any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect family getaway

We can’t say enough good about our time here. The home was just as described and had everything we needed and more. The location is amazing, beautiful views and the sounds of the ocean all day and night. Nancy was helpful and easy to work with and gave us good recommendations. Perfect Ohana Home

A little private slice of Hawaiian heaven! This home is perfect for a family looking to enjoy the island. Beautifully manicured property with a perfect pool to enjoy while enjoying the Hawaiian coast scenery. The house was stocked with all the essentials you need to enjoy your stay plus all beach supplies to venture out. There were even thoughtful children’s items for play, sleep, and pool safety & fun. Wonderful Stay

The house and grounds were wonderful. Perfect for our family of all ages. We contacted the host for any issues and they were very responsive and helpful. Great quiet neighborhood with a short walk to a fun rocky beach for exploring. The pool and view were the real highlight! We hope to be back again!

Thanksgiving Holiday

Our family of 13, including an infant and 5 year old twins, had a great time over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property had plenty of room for all of us, and we had great time using the pool and watching spectacular sunsets each evening. The whales were just arriving from Alaska, and that was a unique experience.

An Amazing Place to Gather

Three generations of family made the He'eia Bay House and Cottage our home base for a wonderful week on the Big Island. No matter where we all went during the day, we loved coming back to the most beautiful sunsets viewed from the patio (and from inside the pool!). The bedrooms and living spaces fit our needs perfectly and the host was very easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Great for the family

We had 13 people stay at this ocation ranging from a 3 year old to a 66 year ol. The house and cottage worked excellent for our group. The place was clean and tody and all amenities were in good shape. Obviously the pool got the most use from the kids. Location is great unless you want to be near the busy part of town, nice and quiet for us and there was easy access to the main roads when we wanted. Overall an outstanding stay in a great location. MAHALO!

The perfect vacation home

We had the most amazing time at this home. The house(s) were absolutely perfect for our 2 families!! The view was breathtaking and the landscaping immaculate. The pool was huge and the entire property was filled with amenities that were appreciated!! This was by far the best rental home our 2 families have ever stayed in! Fantastic Vacation Property

This property was perfect for our family vacation. 10 people stayed 9 nights at the house. The house, pool, hot tub, yard, and waterfront views was amazing, even better than we expected. We ate majority of our meals at the house as the views were better that any restaurant or any luaus. The house, pool, and yards are very well maintained. Everything was clean, well-organized, and easy to use. The house is in a great location. Several beaches & shopping nearby, but the location maintains privacy. The house can easily accommodate 14 people. It was perfect property for us and we would recommend this for a large group who wants to be water front with fantastic water views.

Paradise!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 13. The location is spectacular overlooking the ocean. The house was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. Beautiful house and views

Everything about our two week stay was great. The house, ocean view, lots of supplies, pool toys for the kids, close proximity to grocery store and a private setting were all perfect for 3 generations to enjoy. Most beautiful property

The check in process was very smooth and quick, Nancy was fast at responding to all of my questions. The house is located on a perfect piece of property that gives you the best views for sunsets with privacy. Our family really enjoyed the pool and hot tub at all times of the day. We were a group of 9, and there was still plenty of space available. This truly was the best property that we have stayed at in Kona. We can't wait to plan another vacation back.

Great Place!

We were a family of 10 and we were not crowded at all. The grounds and pool were wonderful. The best pool we have had over previous rental locations. Nancy was very easy to communicate with quick responses to all questions. The house and ohana were very comfortable and well appointed. Close to beaches and shopping. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of beach equipment available (SUP, kayak, snorkeling gear). Highly recommend this place.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location of this property (ocean view and proximity to adventures) was incredible. The pool, patio, and ample yard were our favorite things about this house. We would explore in the morning and come hang and relax for the rest of the day. My family of 4 stayed in the cottage. It was like a second home and the hide-a-bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on. If we return to the big island, we will 100% choose this house again! Thanks so much Nancy!

Fantastic and Beautiful Family Vacation Property!

We rented this fabulous large vacation property in the Keauhou Bay area for a large family summer gathering. Everything about this property; location, setup, amenities and our host Nancy made this a very memorable family vacation. We enjoyed the large backyard area with the pool, badminton, and BBQ areas overlooking the beach. We utilized the short access to the beach to go snorkeling and swimming while enjoying some of the most beautiful sunsets. This really is the perfect location for a Hawaiian vacation and Nancy the host will be as accommodating and helpful as possible. Craig & Pearl

Kona oceanfront

We enjoyed the property and stay very much. We had 7 total and didn't use the guest house, so the property can comfortably hold 10 or more. Nice, open space and swimming pool. Phenomenal sunset views every night, and the sound of the waves crashing are two of the highlights. We stayed in the house for the Ironman triathlon. 5 miles from the race venue so close enough to the action yet we had the privacy of a home.
