The front desk staff was WONDERFUL! But other than that everything else was very poor. The room and hallways were VERY dirty. Also the furniture including the lamp, dresser and chair were broken in the room itself.

For being a fairly new hotel, didn’t look like it. 2 trash bags in the hallway just outside of the elevator when I arrived and still there when I left the next day. The utility room door wide open lights on, just help yourself lol. Someone had dropped something on the floor outside of the elevator looked liked it had been there for a day or so. Elevator dirty. Front desk girl told me to insert my card, no explanation for why, when I asked she said for the room like I was stupid. I then said the room is paid for, she mumbled something like ugh they never let us know. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Lots of marijuana smell throughout (which is legal in MI), 4 large black trash bags were piled outside the elevator doors, trash bin in breakfast area did not have a liner and beer cans from the night before lined the counter. Lights above dining room table in our room did not work. Coffee was lukewarm, not hot. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The ONLY complaint i have is that they must have their temps set wrong in the pool room and the pool temp. It was like walking into a suana in the room and the pool water temp was as hot as a hot tub. No lie! Due to having the grandbabies visit we swam anyways but swim long and the gurls kept getting out and cooling off by standing ubder the shower in cold water. Lol Breakfast was great and way more options than the typical continental breakfast.

Room had a damp/mold odor that caused me not to feel well/get a headache. Requested to switch rooms but was told they were completely booked. They gave me a bottle of Febreeze to mask the odor and said Housekeeping would come and clean, but they never did. I bought a plug in wall air freshener and cleaned the garbage disposal with Dawn dish soap because there was no cleaning products provided. The filthy garbage disposal was the source of the odor. Will not return to this property. Pictures of garbage disposal attached, including the paper towels used to clean it out. It was gross - the stopper and inside the actual garbage disposal.
