Excellent cleanliness

The one thing that really stood out is how clean the room is. The motel itself appears aged but fortunately, we loved that the room itself was comfortable and clean. Our room faced the sea and there were beautiful views. We liked the huge 50" TV. The downside is that some channels had poor TV reception.

Room was clean and basic but showing signs of wear. Have stayed in better places for less money. But then again, peak season and no where else available. Would use it again if no other choice but would look elsewhere first. Probably paid more than it was worth. Note breakfast was included but not available. Also pool and BBQ area not available.

Cute as a button vintage motel

Charming 1960s vintage motel, well kept with some nice retro character. We had a good view over the sea and lakes from our room and enjoyed watching the sun set over the water. The room seemed to have been partially refurbished in recent years with fresh paint and carpet and new appliances (including air conditioner and huge TV), and the bed linen was spotless. The only thing lacking were blockout curtains, which might affect light sleepers (not a problem for us). Friendly staff and good attention to Covid-safe detail, which was reassuring even if it meant that some amenities were not available (breakfast, bbq, pool). Quiet at night, close to Lakes Entrance but away from its hustle and bustle. Just what we wanted, and we thought it was great value overall.

Magnificent views of lakes right outside your door. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room very spacious. Bed was a bit too firm making it uncomfortable for us. Curtains very thin so difficult for early sleep or wanting to sleep in with the light pouring in. Overall would say good value for money.

Beautiful view, rooms are clean, staff was lovely, just a very short walk to Kalimna pub, lookout is right across from rooms, fishing jetty and more gorgeous views just down the hill, would definitely stay again!
