Vacation Cabin On 5 Acres With Pond . Sleeps 3

  • Small private cabin on 5 acres with a pond, fire pit, picnic table. Has a view of Big Mountain and mountains in Glacier park . Cabin is one room with a full bed and twin bed over it. Ideal for a family with one or two children. Fully furnished kitchen (dishes , pots and pans, utensils, coffee pot and coffee, condiments etc.) Full bath with shower and tank less water heater for unlimited hot water. A/C, flat screen TV, microwave, and toaster. Would make a good base camp to ski Whitefish and Blacktail mountains.
    View wildlife from the front porch while enjoying the view of Glacier Park. Five minutes from Glacier International Airport. 25 miles to Glacier Park entrance, 20 miles to Flathead Lake, 10 miles to Whitefish and Whitefish Lake
    Less than 10 minutes to all services with a country setting makes it unique. This cabin shares a pond with a second cabin. The 2 units are 200 feet apart and still private. Both units could be rented together for a larger group or a family reunion

Great place to stay

Perfect place to come and stay for our son’s baseball tournament. Mory was a great host, greeted us upon arrival. Cabin was well stocked with anything we needed. Our dogs had a great time running around. Perfect distance from town and gave us a taste of country. Beautiful views and lovely little porch to enjoy our coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again with any future trips to Kalispell!

Pet Friendly

This location is wonderful and it's an awesome pet friendly stay. The cabin is cozy and has all the amenities of home. Clean, comfortable and likely the best value for your $$$$ in all of Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia or anywhere else near to Glacier National Park. The Perfect Getaway

The property was everything we needed right next to the airport! There were two sweet cats that greeted us each morning as we walked out the door to watch the sunrise. The owner was kind, and accommodating when our flight landed late. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

Cabin

This was a great place to stay. Its clean, comfortable and has charm. It's perhaps not a remote as it appears on the advertising, but it definitely gives you more room than most all other cabins. We had a lazy day there and set up a table and chairs behind the cabin. We looked at mountains and a large meadow. We saw lots of birds, a hawk and a deer. When I return, I will definitely book here again.

Great place to stay, but not secluded.

This property is located about 100 yards off the main highway and has 2 other cabins on it. Its close to the airport so you get a little background noise from that as well, but overall its decently quiet. Its a very good location if you like being close to town, but not if your looking for something secluded. The property owner is great, its very pet friendly, and all the basics are supplied for you. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick getaway close to the wilderness and to town.

We'll stay there again!

Great location. Easy access to the main road where it's just a quick trip to Glacier and the surrounding areas. Mory was easy to deal with and everything was clean and in great working order. The other cabin and neighboring houses were occupied while we were there, but it still felt very private. We sat outside every evening and enjoyed watching the neighbors' cows milling about while the sun went down. We travel with our dog, and she was able to safely be off leash without us worrying about roads or any other trouble. It was exactly what we wanted and we will stay again!

Sweet Cabin on Prairie

Loved loved staying here! The hosts were very nice and welcoming - there are a couple cats that roam the property and farm animals on nearby properties that are fun to watch. A puppy named Oakley might visit you if you're lucky. Gorgeous view of the mountains and unbelievably easy drive from the Kalispell airport. Cabin is the perfect size and the kitchen is well enough outfitted to cook simple meals - I made all my breakfasts and dinners here for the few days I stayed. I really enjoyed eating at dawn/dusk at the picnic tables. They lent me bear spray / bug spray / binoculars while I stayed which was super helpful. So enjoyed, felt very at home and at ease here, and would most certainly return!

Cute cabin

Overall a lovely little place to stay. Great central location. Easy access to highway but highway noise is definitely there when sitting on deck. No noise inside the cabin. Our lab loved swimming in the pond! The remote control should be replaced. Very hard to use as the volume buttons didn't work very well. It's a very cute little cabin with everything you could need for a stay. We met a nice family from Ohio staying in the next cabin! Definitely better than a hotel! We would stay again if in the area. Thank you

Good... Could Have Been Great

Found property as described... Compact and cost efficient... Convenient location close to town and Glacier National Park... Excellent communication with host... The only thing that disappointed me (and lowered my overall rating) was the cleanliness of the cabin... Let's just say it appeared to be in need of a thorough cleaning... Also, upon arrival, we noticed a stale, mildew smell... There is obviously a moisture problem in the bathroom at back of cabin... By the end of our stay, there was literally fungus growing from the floor! ...My intent with this review is not to trash the property, but rather to point out it needs some TLC... It was good, but it could have been great.
