Loved our short stay. The lake was beautiful and the area was so quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit but the beautiful night sky was the highlight. The house had everything needed for a fun little getaway. My pup enjoyed it too!

This property is lovely. On a quiet road, literally steps away from a beautiful lake. The view is wonderful!Home is cozy, has a comfortable living room area and enough amenities to make our weekend away easy. Or host was quick to respond with questions. Very nice place to wind down during our weekend adventure trip! Only thing to note is that it is very rural, the closest small store is 10 minutes away so make sure you have all your essentials with you!

Beautiful little place

My husband, in laws and I had a lovely stay. The cabin is located in a perfect spot and very cozy. The neighbors were all very friendly and even let us use their kayak to stroll around the lake. It was a nice and quiet short get away!

Excellent place

We loved this cottage. Very clean, updated, large kitchen for a small cabin, beautiful view. My only update to the listing would be that it sleeps 5 rather than 6.

Cottage with a View!

We were delighted with our short stay at the Blue Lake Yellow Cottage. The cottage is just steps away from the water, and we wish we'd been there on a warmer fall day to enjoy the lake in our canoe! It is pet and family friendly, and once we got the wi-fi back up and running, we had great connectivity. Perfect spot for a quick get-away.

Slice of Heaven

WOW. What a perfect location for a family friendly get away. The lake was unbelievable clean and clear, the neighbors were welcoming and friendly, the road was quiet and safe and we were able to explore a bit on long walks in the morning. The house is perfect and well stocked, we truly enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely return. The host was also super responsive which was great.

A Perfect Lakeside Retreat!

My recent stay at this charming lakeside cottage was lovely. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stunning views of the serene lake and the cozy, inviting atmosphere of the cottage. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The view from the living and dining area offered lovely views of the lake, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a good book. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. It’s clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into making this cottage a special retreat. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with beautiful lake views and excellent amenities, I highly recommend this cottage. We can’t wait to return for another stay!

This was an adorable cottage right on blue lake! We thoroughly enjoyed walking right outside and taking a few steps and being on the water. The cottage was a little small for our family (5) personally but I knew that going into it and I wouldn’t count that against the listing. The closest town is a good 20 minutes so keep that in mind if you need something, that didn’t bother us as we explored a lot anyway! We made it to Gaylord, Indian River, Torch Lake, Mackinac Bridge, Sleeping Bear to name a few and the longest drive from the cottage was about 1.5 hours.

This is a very nice cottage in a great location! Everything was clean and it has everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable time. Blue Lake is just outside the front door; there is a small public beach there also. We were amazed at how quiet it was during our stay.I have to say, I did not communicate with Tina very often, because we really did not need anything! If I had a question, though, the response was very quick and helpful. The kitchen area has all you need for making meals. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit. There is also a kayak to use if needed.
