Excellent

The house was located near two stations and is an excellent choice for travelers not using a car. The house was clean and the facilities were good. The house is in a semi rural setting and backs onto a fruit orchard which during our stay was in full bloom and looked amazing. We highly recommend staying here.

A nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood

Wonderful Japanese Home Near to Tokyo without the Bustle!

This is property is a hidden gem! It is absolutely what you are going to want in a rental if you're looking for a Japanese style house that's near to Tokyo. To put it plainly, we were stunned when we entered our first night. The floors are all hardwood, and there is a living room, dining area and full kitchen on the first floor as well as a toilet room, full Japanese style bath and the hidden gem was a tatami mat room that can easily sleep 3 people (or more if you don't mind being close to each other). The room came with all the necessary bedding and extra blankets/pillows.Upstairs was just as nice! There are three private bedrooms, a toilet room, and another Japanese style bath and a washing machine all on the top floor.The location is about a 30-45min train ride from Tokyo (depending on where you're headed). There are actually TWO train stations near by. Kita Hatsutomi station is about a 5 min walk, and the more busy Shin Kamagaya Station is about a 10 min walk. A word to the wise, if you're going to want to understand Japanese train schedules use Google Maps (NOT Apple Maps). There is also an excellent Ramen restaurant and a 7-11 (24/7) about 5min past the Kita Hatsutomi Station. The owner was very quick to reply to any questions. If you're looking for a VERY affordable accommodation then this is a must rent. We suggested the owner include more photos of the property (inside and out) as what is shown on the VRBO listing doesn't do it justice!
