Kamalame Cay Holidays

This was our second year at the British Colonial and we will return again next year. Wonderfully remodeled a few years ago and impeccably maintained. The pool and beach area are superb. Many lounge chairs and patio umbrellas dot the pool and beach areas. The hotel rooms have all the modern conveniences and a feeling of old world charm and style. All the staff are friendly, helpful and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. There are a couple staff members that I would like to point out. Charles and Petra cover the beach and pool area. They make every guest feel special. The front desk attendants are all excellent, but our favorite is Selvinique. Her outgoing personality is infectious and she makes sure all guests feel welcome and appreciated. Art & Pam McCray

We traveled to Atlantis the end of May. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which is ideal for our family of 5. The waterpark keeps our kids entertained all day, and my younger 2 kids love the various activities (bingo, pool games, etc...). There are plenty of food and beverage options (including Starbucks, Nobu, Fish, Carmine's), just be prepared for the higher prices. If Atlantis is in your budget, your kids will love it! I think for the price some improvements can be made (including bringing back the meal plans), but we would definitely consider staying again in the future. Favorite places to eat: 1. NOBU (although the server tends to make or break the experience) 2. Fish (their tasting menus are delicious!) 3. Murray's Deli (great for lunch) 4. Amber (great steak options and in the casino, so if you like to gamble, you are steps away) Least Favorite place to eat: 1. Carmine's (since their move from the previous location, food quality has greatly declined...food was bland, and even though the cheapest option, I would skip it) Side note: pack lots of sunscreen, you can always bring it back home. If you run out 1 bottle is like $30+
