"Staff was excellent, the location was prime as proximity to restaurants, transportation and the riverfront great. Very walkable. Nor sure about parking as expected since it is city center and feels safe. Loved the building and architecture that houses the hotel..old charm👌"

"So this place is located just off the main plaza in the old/ rebuilt part of Dresden. It's location is the biggest draw, the restaurant downstairs is good food reasonably priced so it's pretty great for that. We stayed in one of the junior suites which was nice, the only issue I found was things that are normally supplied with the room were all actually charged for such as the coffee on the counter or the bottle of water in the fridge, this was not a minibar just a bottle of water. We didn't see the charge sign right away so we ended up buying the coffee and water. Just a bit surprised since we see these items all the time just normally included with the room especially if if you are in a higher priced room but here it was all extra. I really liked the accomodations and would stay again however watch for the extras"

Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe

"The staff and the Steigenberger were very helpful and friendly, including letting me get breakfast to-go, so I could meet my schedule. The location was also super convenient. The one downside is that the gym/fitness center is ludicrously small for such a large hotel. They have one treadmill and free weights too light for any adult male. I would stay again for sure if I were unconcerned about fitness."
