Mountains surrounded the motel makes it look like a western cowboy movie scene. It’s interesting located at the road cross 2 states Utah and Arizona. A lot attractions like Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Page city are close to it, it’s convenient to drive around

Friendly staff and nice view of the sunrise. There is nearby outlook and lake to stop along the way before you head to the wave. Have a very close by gas station but it seem almost out of gas as it took very long to fill up 1/3 of my gas tank.

We love this little motel. We stay any time we are in the area. Inexpensive and always clean. My only complaint is the lack of morning coffee/snacks. Big Water has no amenities. A coffee pot in the lobby with a sign on it telling us to push the button to brew is not helpful when you just want to grab a cup and get on the road. Other than that, I definitely recommend this motel.

Well, you get what you pay for and what I paid for was a quiet night's sleep in a clean place on my way to somewhere else. And that is exactly what I got. Late checkin was easy (envelope on the counter).

Smoke alarm chirped all night long, walls were so thin, it was like neighbors were in the room with you. We checked out early and requested a refund thru Expedia but they wouldn’t give it to us. No one was at the front desk when I tried to talk to them, even during business hours. Horrible, horrible experience, customer service, location, everything was just awful.

We stayed at this motel because it is near a tour company where we have to be at 8am. The hotel itself is ok, reasonably clean, a bit run down, but ok for one night. But theres almost nothing nearby. A gas station with a mini market has very limited hours It closed at 4pm). There is no restaurant nearby—you have to go to Page, 20 minutes away. No breakfast served here either-so you need to plan ahead.

There was no working ice machine and the laundry was not available. The AC was impossible to regulate and the shower temperature went from hot to cold multiple times almost scalding me.

The booking process for this was terrible. I was looking for accommodation in Page, AZ. When I got the confirmation it said it was in Kanab, UT. Much to my surprise the Rodeway Inn was in Big Water, UT! It was fortunate we figured it out after several phone calls. VERY CONFUSING TO SAY THE LEAST!

Would not recommend for families (no pool or activities nearby), but if you are looking for an authentic experience (decor & furniture may seem kitchy but real), quiet rooms, excellent service & amazing views - this hotel is for you.

I’m so pleased
The very nice lady who checked me in was very helpful as my back was hurting and she helped with the door and my cane (which I dropped) and even got me some ice. She also had the doom cooled off.

Halfway mark on trip
I was traveling from AZ to UT, it was the perfect halfway point. I missed the sign for it but managed to flip around easily enough and go right to it. Very friendly staff they were helpful and nice, It was clean and quiet. They also have a washer and dryer for use. I plan to stay again on my trip back.

Staying here was a nightmare experience. Arrived, exhausted and tired, around 10:30 pm. Nobody around to answer questions, which was fine, considering they left a note with our card key in it. While unpacking, the power went out. Total darkness. Phone light out after the battery died. No shower, no wifi, no AC, no employees around. This stay should be fully refunded.

Even Worse than Horrible
The beds were uncomfortable and squeeky. The worst, however, is that there is no one on site. One of the guests went out for coffee in the AM and couldn't get back into the room because her card didn't work. She, and us all tried multiple times to call the desk clerk from the lobby phone but it went to VM for over 1 and a half hours. I called the police department and explained the situation, then asked to be transferred to the fire department to respond. Fortunately, someone from our group used his key card to just slip past the door lock!

Oh, this hotel was a RELIEF after having spent a night in Phoenix with a bug-infested room and 3 nights in the Grand Canyon with 30 degree weather. Even without the comparison, this hotel was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Would recommend a stay here 1000x over. It was a bit far out from the local town, but it was about a 20 minute drive into town.
