Kane'ohe Sand Bar seems to be an enigma; a widely talked about place, yet somehow a bit shrouded in mystery. I took this photo of two guys sailing on their Hobe Cat against a stunning backdrop of the Ko'olau Mountains.

TIP: check the tides and visit the sandbar on a day where you can actually walk around on it.
