Great stay with family

A wonderful stay
Could not fault this gorgeous property. Was totally relaxing and homely, wish we could have stayed longer. Our dog Archie also had a great time playing and exploring the vast grounds. Vittoria was a perfect host, very informative.

Fantastic property, marvellous host!
This property was everything and more for our weekend away. Picturesque views, stunning house, clean, inviting, every detail thought about. All communication from the host was clear and welcoming, it made us feel very comfortable. My partner, myself and our pup enjoyed every minute and want to come back a few times a year. Would highly recommend and already looking forward to our next stay

Perfect Family Getaway
Our family had a very relaxing stay at Desiderata. The view is sensational, the house was perfect to host family and friends. Our dog loved the wide spaces to run, as did the kids. Beautiful country walks near by. The chicken and goats added to the entertainment. Very close to town. Highly recommend. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Had an incredible weekend at this amazing property with our extended family and our dog!!! Gorgeous location, impeccably maintained property, fully equipped kitchen with thought going into every little detail (I’ve never stayed at a property with the knives perfectly sharpened and everything you will ever need to cook and/or bake anything). Lovely welcoming finishing touches including farm fresh eggs and a cold bottle of bubbles waiting in the fridge. Lots of games and toys to keep everyone entertained. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for having us!!!

The house was amazing and the views is to die for.
Renting the house was very easy and smooth. The rent price was very reasonable considering the house had amazing views and had easy access to the main road and highways. We recommend this house to everyone as we enjoyed our stay and experience in kangaroo valley.

Desiderata is a wonderfully designed, appointed and maintained property. Beautiful valley views, sunrises and sunsets. Spacious and comfortable. We could have stayed for longer and not left the house, and intend to stay again.

Delightful Desiderata
We highly recommend “Desiderata” it is beautifully decorated and the hosts were wonderful. It is actually better than the pictures because of the feeling you get when you look at the uninterrupted views of the mountains. We all enjoyed the stunning fire with red wine , cheese and continuous conversation . We hardly watched TV but if you do the TV room is amazing. We took our dog who would run around the paddock, come back exhausted ,then snooze by the fire. We loved the fresh eggs from the chickens great for omelettes. The goats were super friendly ,one of them lets you scratch him between his horns. We went to the Friendly Inn for dinner which has great pub food. Maddison’s Cafe makes a decent coffee both are dog friendly. If you love blue cheese buy Tilba creamy blue from The General Store YUM 😋 Unfortunately it can only be purchased down thee south coast so stock up before you go !

Wonderful weekend in Kangaroo Valley
The property far exceeded our expectations. It really is a home away from home. Communication with Vittoria was easy, prompt & so friendly. From the champagne & fresh eggs in the fridge, to toys & bath chair for our grandson; the the well-stocked fire place to the egg chairs on the deck, the house offers everything you could possibly want from a winter weekend in Kangaroo Valley. The kitchen is so well equiped that eating at 'home' was a delight. The house is warm & welcoming & we all slept so well in the beautiful cosy beds. We loved our family break and would definitely return to the property.

Absolutely perfect.
Could not have been a better experience! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully catered-for and close to the Kangaroo Valley village. The grounds were manicured and kids loved the goats and chickens. We didn’t want to leave. We are already looking at dates to rebook. Thank you to the hosts, who we met and were lovely!

Fantastic property with all the modern conveniences and farm experiences. Awesome kitchen. Lots to do in the house with games and books on a rainy day. Vittoria and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, especially when the power went off in the whole of the valley, turning up with a generator within minutes. Great service.

K Valley experience
Excellent property and well located just outside town (a few minutes drive). Beautiful house with all facilities provided. Very clean inside and out. Entertainment area and BBQ are first class with views across the valley. Set on acreage with lawns kept neat and tidy there was plenty of room for outside games. Property manager went above and beyond and provided loads of information on the local area. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended

I love this property!
This property provided my family and I to create some amazing memories! The house is so cosy, warm, inviting and architecturally exquisite. The views that we got to enjoy while we were having a family breakfast or dinner were to die for. The house had literally everything you need to cook with and to entertain family. And Vittoria was so easy to communicate with when arranging our stay. The decor is perfect for a cosy night in with the family and the yards were perfect for the kids to play and run around. Desiderata was everything we expected and more. Photos do not do any justice for this property. The owners have thought of everything and everything was of quality. There isn’t much that you need to bring along, even when travelling with children. The views and location were magical as was the sunrise every morning from the master suite. A perfect place...a slice of heaven...
We booked this house after seeing the beautiful pictures. Let me tell you, they don't do the property justice! A perfect home combining comfort, space and wanting for nothing. Long days in the sun... walking, snoozing or playing one of the many games provided for outside and indoors. Spending your evenings cooking up a feast in the beautiful well equipped kitchen or lazing in front of the fireplace. This is a home away from home. I will definitely be back! I kind of want to keep it my secret place...but that just wouldn't be fair. The world should know about this slice of heaven.
