"Though it’s a newly constructed hotel, it follows a vintage architecture very earnestly - the high ceiling, the colonial furniture, and grand father clocks all reminiscent of the rich history of Pondicherry. Staff, at front desk and restaurant are very courteous without being overbearing. Overall we had a lovely time and our three year old enjoyed the stay in “hotel house” very much! "
"You could do a lot worse ! This hotel was perfectly adequate for our purpose. It lies just outside White Town. Crossing the road by foot from the white town side to the hotel side of the road like any Indian city is not for the faint of heart. Breakfast was standard fare for South India. If you have a driver then you can be dropped off near the promenade which is pedestrianised and is simply marvellous for this very reason.We didn't eat in as there were a lot of eateries around.Pondy is very humid in August so the room AC provided a welcome respite from this humidity .If I was staying in Pondy again, I would be happy to stay here again."
