"The hotel has been excellent from the beginning. We were exhausted because of flight delay and couldn’t find the driver at the airport for pick up service. It was midnight and I should have be more careful, but they find the way to reach the driver soon and arranged us to arrive at the hotel safely. The room was also amazing. "Don't forget there is a 1800 rupees fee to enter the square and you need your passport but you can get a pass the last as long as your visa. If staying over 5 days you need a passport size photo for you pass card. The hotel is clean and tidy. The breakfast is great, the views from the roof are great if the weather is clear Sit on the roof with your early morning coffee and watch the square come to life, when the locals use it for worship. Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel staff if you need anything from them just ask, clean towels, extra toiletries or a taxi."

"This is an out of the way, rugged and basic property. No pool. But they had a trampoline and a tree swing for the kids. Very quiet. Beautiful views of Lantang region. Note: you need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with high clearance to get there. The last kilometer or so is unpaved, bumpy, muddy, and narrow. Parking is in a small dirt lot with a gate that is locked at night."
