Heated Swim Spa + Outdoor Movie Theater, Private Resort

  • Welcome to Kansas City Urban Oasis, a private resort-style retreat in the heart of the city.

    Guests enjoy exclusive use of the entire upper-level home, including 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and our signature outdoor oasis. The backyard is yours to enjoy throughout your stay, featuring the heated swim spa, outdoor movie theater, fire pit, outdoor bar, large-screen TV, games, gardens, and multiple seating areas. There are no shared indoor living spaces and no shared outdoor recreation areas.

    To provide complete transparency, the property is a duplex. We live in a completely separate basement-level residence with our own private entrance and separate living space. Guests do not have access to the basement, and we do not access the guest areas during your stay.

    While most guests never see us, there may occasionally be brief moments when our paths cross while arriving or leaving the property. Our goal is always to provide guests with a private and uninterrupted experience.

    We also have cats and dogs that live on the property. Although they do not have access to the guest accommodations or guest-use areas, guests with significant cat or dog allergies should be aware that animals are present on-site. You may occasionally see our pets from a window or while enjoying the outdoor spaces.

    Surrounded by mature trees and beautiful gardens, the property feels like a private resort while remaining conveniently located near Kansas City International Airport, downtown Kansas City, major sports venues, casinos, shopping, dining, and entertainment.

    Whether you’re relaxing in the heated swim spa, gathering around the fire pit, enjoying an outdoor movie under the stars, or simply unwinding in the gardens, Kansas City Urban Oasis offers a unique getaway unlike anything else in the area.

Great hospitality best we have ever had. Gave us privacy but checked on us and was available when we needed them. Great place to bring pets and our family. House was immaculate and well maintained. Yard and neighborhood was exceptionally nice. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to visit Kansas City, Missouri. It was 5/5 star stay for a great vacation.

We loved staying at the Urban Oasis for our women's weekend. The house has everything you could wish for, including many modern conveniences. We loved the well-stocked coffee station in the kitchen and the ability to do laundry. The backyard is a dream, and the swim spa is AMAZING. We also used the fire pit, and enjoyed the thought and attention to the landscaping and backyard design. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place to literally anyone - it really did feel like an urban oasis.
