The room was actually pretty good for the price. It was clean and the bathroom was nice but the outside of the building and parking lot is in desperate need of renovation and the hallways were not as clean as the room.

Our stay was good over all. The room was clean and we were able to pay a small fee to check in early. The office chair handle was broken, the toilet wasn’t very stable and pulled from the wall a bit, and the bathroom sink was missing a stopper.

Neutral: Location is close to 435 and just 12 mins from downtown Cons: Breakfast is non-existent unless you count just bread, tiny stale muffins and pancake. Bathroom has no hair dryer Summary: Good for the price

It was ok. Not what i expected for the price i paid the weekend i went. The staff was prompt when i had an ac issue and resolved it quickly. Little bit of a sketchy area. Of course im pretty good at getting along with anyone but if someone was from a fancy neighborhood with limit amount of crazy in their life they would have been very uncomfortable and most likely felt unsafe. It was ok for us tho.

Very limited breakfast: cereal with hand scooped portions, open container milk and juice, no hot or even warm items to eat. Stained and cracked bathtub so I would not bathe here. Slippery bathtub, but there was a handle. It smelled clean.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was adequate- basic and no complaints. The entire building smelled like smoke though. They have a list upon entering for costs of basic things you may have forgotten like toothbrush, razor, etc. they are reasonable. It seems like a place folks may be staying on a more long-term type basis. There was a gas station/convenience store nearby and a Waffle House but it’s in a somewhat industrial area and getting rides to and from the city across the river during peak hours - bars/shows/events can get pricey but are affordable if you plan ahead.

Price and location good but had some opportunities

So we got the property for a good price and the location worked well for our adventures that weekend. While the front desk staff was courteous, the property had a strong odor that was not pleasant within the hallways. Our room was okay, but could have used some additional cleaning. The exterior could have used some TLC, as well. Final comment; we had messaged the property over a week out to our stay and never received a response.

This has become our go-to stay when visiting family in Kansas City. Located in an industrial/rail yard area, it is quiet, off the beaten path, without much foot traffic. Located nearby are dining options, convenience stores, and fuel stops. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Safety is enhanced with indoor access to rooms. Bed and shower linens were clean; mattress was very comfortable. Room decor has been updated. The breakfast area was fastidiously clean, uncluttered and spacious. A warmer was kept filled with pancakes and other continental breakfast items were available as well including cold cereals and instant hot oatmeal. Our room microwave and mini-fridge were very clean and functional. The desk and housekeeping staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. We are very satisfied patrons and will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thanks so much for your efforts to provide such a pleasurable motel stay!

Highly disappointed.

The shower was dirty. When we would leave our room sometimes the door would stay open. The hot breakfast was so not worth going to. There was a mysterious liquid on the wall. The headboards were not screwed into the wall properly. The hallways smelled of smoke. There was a nice table in the room with a long short dresser I liked. The shower didn’t drain properly at all! Asked for extra towels and they could only offer one instead of two for me and my friend. Honestly would only reccomend if it was an emergency. Didn’t feel safe at all either. Every window looked like it had been vandalized.

The hotel is under major construction. The outside wasnt safe as there was glass in the parking lot and beer bottles on thr ground. When driving up it looked like the hotel was shut down for renovations.
