This is a truly special, restored 1918 Craftsman Style home with charm, luxury and vintage romantic comfort, including hand painted details by a local artist. Fresh locally roasted whole bean coffee provided from Rochester Roasting to go with a state-of-the-art coffee maker. Working record player with Bluetooth enabled speaker to play your favorite classics from the eras in the gorgeous dining room. Large walk-in shower, enclosed sun porch, and open-air front porch to greet the day.

Girls’ Weekend

My 2 friends and I came for an out of town girls’ weekend. We absolutely loved the charm and coziness of the 1920’s cottage-bungalow-craftsman! The place was clean and safe, close to Englewood art district.

Amazing spot. The house is so nice. Could use a few more small kitchen appliances (blender and mixer). But so clean and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable, nicely remodeled and the little up and coming arts district was great. Inglewood is a lot different than when I was growing up in Independence.

Relaxing and accurate

We travel frequently and some places use old pictures or try to hide things. We were very impressed with the Stone House. Nothing was hidden in the pictures and everything was just as it was shown. It was a very accurate description of all of the amenities. We also enjoyed the house and found it very relaxing.

We loved the Stonehouse. It was very comfortable and easily accessible to downtown KC. The kitchen is well stocked so we could cook our own meals. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting the KC area.BTW, we did not do the winery experience, so I really do not have any rating on that.

Great vibe!

Upon first entering the home, you feel like you’re transported back in time. Very clean and well kept home. Renovation was done to a very high standard with new appliances and easy to access cabinets. It is right next to a bus stop which does make for a few times when you wonder “now who is this person in the side yard?” But nothing too bad. A fantastic stay and would stay again.
