Good for a girls trip

Four of us, friends since grade school, met in Kansas City. The house was clean and the host was quick to respond when we had questions. We enjoyed the backyard and the comfy beds.

Family visit

Family traveled from Wisconsin traveled to visit just after Christmas. They wanted to see the Plaza lights and spend time hanging out. The location of the home was perfect to see the plaza lights and visit union station. We gathered at the home for meals and time together. It was ideal!

Wonderful to stay at!

We had a wonderful time at the Speakeasy! The house was prepared and clean, plenty of space for our party of 7, and very thoughtfully provided amenities. The pool room is so much fun, we had a blast ending our night with a few games. The host was very responsive and so helpful with any questions we had! Great location and not a far drive to downtown or other activities in the area. Already planning our return trip and will definitely be booking again!

Great spot for visiting

Well cleaned and prepared before check-in. Not too far from grocery or fast food options. Very cozy and the pool table made for a great way for me and my other guests to put our phones down and enjoy our time together. As well with the nearby bike path/trail. If I were to visit KC again I would check availability here.

NCAA wrestling tournament

Property was comfortable and clean and had all amenities. The pool table was good to have to kill some time during the day in between sessions. Would have been nice to be a little closer to downtown to keep the rides shorter but overall a nice place to stay for 4 friends attending the NCAA wrestling tournament at the T Mobile center.

NYE Getaway

The house was perfect for me and my three young adult/teen kids. Very spacious, well stocked, and clean. All four beds were comfortable. Cute decor. The rec room with the pool table was awesome. A good location for Arrowhead stadium for our first Chiefs game. A great way to ring in the new year!

We had a great stay at Mia’s house. The home is older but has been updated in some ways. Very comfortable beds. Small rooms. Great communication from the host. Less than a mile from grocery store and food options. Backyard was not in great shape for kids to play.

Girls Weekend

This property was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. It was in a great location and the rooms were beautiful and modern. The pool table room was really cool. We would definitely go back to this house for getaways again. If there was only one thing I would like to see changed is that the house is so updated and modern, wish the bathtub and second bathroom was a little more updated. But other than that, it was amazing!

This home is in a nice quite neighborhood, close to walking trails, shopping, and Restaurants. Its an older home, lots of squeaks from floor boards and cabinets. Nice fenced yard for pets. Furniture was older table chairs were stained. Could use some updating. stained so could use some updaing.

Family time

This is an older home that’s had many updates, but still has some quirks, such as squeaky kitchen cabinet doors. It was neat and clean and nicely decorated, and the bonus was the pool table. The pool sticks were broken, but new ones were brought over to the house in person. The backyard was fenced and there was plenty room for all four of us to enjoy our time together.

Waldo Speakeasy

This property was all we could have wished for. It is much larger than it looks from the outside. Ample bedrooms, clean and neat. We loved the poolroom! Super for a large family. I found the kitchen a bit lacking, but of course, I cook, while many do not. Baking pans were scanty and not in great condition. There is no toaster - bring your own, if you need it. The microwave, on the other hand, is stellar, and the abundant supply of coffee is great. This property is in the south of KC, and we came in from the north. So we saw a LOT of the city by the time we found it. But it is handy to the interstate, which can route you around the worst of the traffic. It is not handicap friendly. Inside, everything is on one level, but you must climb up several steps to get to the door. Do not unplug the little round things - one in a bedroom, the other in the living room. Those are routers for the internet! Our host was very responsive in getting us up and running again. Overall, a great stay. We would stay again!
