"B&B nestled in the hill country 30 minutes from Alishan National Park/visitor area. We were upgraded to a room with a view and two King’s beds. The staffs are very courteous, helpful, and engaging, make the guests feel at home. The facility is well maintained. No pest intrusion into the cabin. A 20 min walk/hike to see Alishan sunrise.(level is moderate) "

"The place is not easy to find, the address lead to a cafe place which is right on the corner, but to find the B&B you need to go further on the left side, when you see a white door, please ring the bell and wait for the waitress! "We read other reviews about getting to the B&B from public transportation and then walking as well as bringing food for dinner which we found to be extremely helpful. The property is quaint and beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was the “Lemongrass” room and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The B&B provided delicious breakfast with tea/ coffee for the mornings. The location is also very close to a sunrise viewing point....

"The place was tastefully decorated. Rooms are clean and spacious. Tainan's local delicacies are served for breakfast along with fruits and drinks, we had coffee both days and it was of good quality. Owner is knowledgeable about tainan, provided parking advice in advance and offered us a map. We had a good rest at Poky Chez and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a minsu when visiting tainan."

"Great little hotel a short walk from the private ferry port on Xiaoliuqiu. Staff didn't speak very much english, but they were very kind and helpful. Parking is easy. Wifi was no great in our room, but useable. Really nice shower and everything was super clean. There is also a really nice rooftop terrace with a view of the coast of the big island and a pretty good view of the stars too! "

"This is the great place to stay for Tainan, it's tranquil and gives good experience to stay Taiwanese house. My room has a facing the patio and really relax. They also offer free use of the washing machine. One weakness is Wi-Fi. Some of the access points are out of the new security standard and also the signals are too weak. I don't recommend for workation but if you want to do digital detox, it will be a good choice."

"I booked this MOTEL thinking it was a business type hotel because that is the name on Hotels.com. The "hotel" is a Motel, as shown on their business signs all over the property, not a Hotel. It has a weird drive-in with no lobby, because it was converted from a warehouse to a Motel. It is in no way a business hotel or family hotel, but it cost the same range as a true business hotel. We felt we drastically overpaid. There is nothing at all near the hotel either, even 7-11 is 5+ minutes walk...
