"Batoen Lodge was a delightful surprise and one that really helped us re-energise halfway through our trip. Friendly staff, amazing views and the swimming was great. We had a good meal and a round of drinks in great surroundings. We would definitely spend more time here next time."

"The house is very charming and it's in a beautiful setting. We loved the old goat and the funny roosters. The lace screens for the windows were such a clever touch. The cabinets were well stocked with glasses and plates. The owner brought excellent bikes for us to rent. We had a great time riding around the countryside. The only thing missing were comfortable lawn chairs for outside. We asked and were told that people kept ruining them or worse, taking them. But there were multiple tables and sitting areas outside which we certainly took advantage of. Such a lovely place. We would go back again for sure."

"Ein wundervoller Urlaub. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem gemütlichen Haus am See sehr genossen. Mit dem Boot haben wir sehr viele Stunden auf dem See verbracht und viele Fische gefangen."
