Hotel karolina, olsova vrata near karlovy vary
Overall we were very pleased, the room and en-suite bathroom were modern, well furnished and very comfortable. Although the accommodation was very clean we rated cleanliness as 4 because it was not cleaned or serviced during our 3 night stay although we were the only guests at the hotel (apparently they fill up when there is a tournament at the nearby golf course)The breakfasts were excellent and generous. The owners were helpful and friendly. They spoke very little english but my wife managed with the german she knew (neither of us speaking Czech!). The location in a village about 8 km from karlovy vary meant it was quiet and peaceful but there were no nearby restaurants and a drive into the town was needed. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it and will stay there again.

Super lage, nettes Personal und sehr Ruhige gegend
Sehr schönes kleines Hotel / Pension. Netter Empfang, sehr ruhige Lage, kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür und persönliches Frühstück nach Absprache der Uhrzeit. Zimmer schlicht und sauber, Betten dem Preis angepasst, nicht der Hammer aber auch nicht schlecht. Bad sauber und sehr schön. Leider kein Abendessen möglich nur Bierbar aber Karlsbad war nur einige min. mit dem Auto weg, auch somit ok. Nicht täuschen lassen da ein Flugplatz in der Nähe ist, aber von Lärm keine spur. Mit offenen Fenster schlafen war sehr angenehm. Kein Verkehr Abends vor dem Hotel. Würden es wieder buchen für einen kurzen Trip.

Nette kleine Pension außerhalb von Karlsbad
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepfelgt, das Bad machte einen modernen, kürzlich renovierten Eindruck. Im Zimmer befanden sich ein kleiner Kühlschrank sowie ein Fernseher, den ich aber nicht einschalten konnte. War aber auch nicht notwendig, da der Fernseher im Gastraum nebenan (Restaurant) extrem laut war. Dadurch war leider auch recht früh die Nacht vorbei, da der Besitzer bei der Vorbereitung des Frühstücks damit das ganze Haus weckte. Die Pension liegt leider knapp 10 km vom Stadtzentrum Karlsbad entfernt, das angeschlossene Restaurant fand ich nicht einladend genug um dort zu Abend zu essen. Also fuhr ich abends lieber mit dem Taxi zurück, Kosten 230 CZK vom Zentrum aus. Frühstück war okay, typisch tschechisch, aber für jeden etwas dabei. Nur die recht kurz bemessene Frühstückszeit (8-9 Uhr) störte ein wenig. Der Parkplatz befindet sich direkt auf dem Hof, durch die Lage (Mauer) steht das Fahrzeug recht geschützt vor neugierigen Blicken.
