The location is perfect in Kata, easy access for everything from the markets to the beach. The staff were wonderful and we couldn’t recommend ozo more to anyone looking to stay in the area especially with a young family

Super hotel that is excellent for kids. Our two-year old could have spent all day, every day by the pool. With three pools, including splash park and slides, there was loads to keep him entertained. Our room was in great condition, with plenty of space. Shower water leaked a little under the glass door onto the bathroom floor, otherwise fantastic. The breakfast was brilliant, extensive with a range of different options. We loved the fruit and there was fresh noodle soup cooked on the spot. Lots of other activities to keep children entertained, including movies every night. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and great with our little boy. It was great to see the efforts at sustainability, too.

Excellent hotel, mainly due to the excellent staff EG Naan on reception. Recommend for families, big pool and mini water park which my kids enjoyed a lot. Food was good, a little repetitive though. Near the beach, just a 5 minutes walk out the back gate. Across the road from walking street, so lots close. A couple of things to note: Drainage ditch disects the property - maybe cover this up? The floor of the children's pool is very rough and causes grazing of the skin very easily. Russians dominate this property and the resort. Make of that what you will. I recommend this hotel, clean and well run.

Our first family trip with two children (10 & 5) to Phuket. The hotel was just as described and we had a wonderful 7 nights. The breakfast buffet was well catered and the dining options in thailand around the area don’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend and stay here again if visiting Phuket !

Not sure what makes this resort “family-friendly
After reading all of the positive reviews, I was excited to spend my last days in Phuket at the OZO. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. I booked a family suite for my family of four and was disappointed in how small the accommodation was and that there was only one bathroom. It felt like we were on a cruise ship. Also, there were no amenities offered in-room besides shampoo, soap and shower gel. Upon check-in, we had a conditioning shampo in the shower which was much needed after time in the pool and ocean, but it vanished on the second day through the remainder of our stay. The front desk did not have any on hand and housekeeping was unable to help so I had to use the new bottle that was put in the room which looked, smelled and felt exactly like the shower gel. I would expect more from a hotel touting itself as a 5-star resort. Staff were friendly but poolside service was atrocious. It was difficult to order food and drinks and most days we ended up going off property. The one day we stayed, the order took forever and took several attempts to get it right. Other than movies every evening, I’m not sure what exactly makes this resort so “family friendly” besides the bunk beds in the second room. We stayed at several properties throughout Bangkok that did wonderful things for our kids such as sharing stories, gifting them keepsakes and overall, just talking to them. With so many choices, I would not return.

Excellent family friendly and Clean Hotel
A great place to stay for the family, right in the middle of the bustling Kata Night street with street food, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy and all convenience located just outside the hotel. A family friendly place with a small water park to keep kids occupied and the beach is right behind the hotel. Excellent staff, clean rooms and wide options for breakfast.

Pros -breakfast lots of options sometimes eggs benedict -quite, good walls built -pools clean and separate kids pool slide and fun -staff extremely friendly and polite -1 minute to the beach amazing value -cleaners are good -parking with security guards -wi fi streams 4k amazing -general space super clean and tidy -restaurant pizza wood fire delicious -across the road from night markets amazing -7 eleven across the road -live music across the road (you don't hear it) -massage across the road -good gym -extemely good value IMO Cons Honestly none unless I were to be petty perhaps an AC remote and a firmer pillow though they get fluffed every day. We had a wonderful stay at OZO Phuket as hotel was ideal walking distance to the beach and to multiple wonderful restaurants and safe for our kids who had a great time! Hotel and staff were superb and highly recommend this hotel for families.

The children loved the bunk beds. Very Simple but clean room, The tv sometimes did not work. Pool with slide amenities excellent with back exit adjacent to beach. Fab location. We didn’t like the canal (sewage perhaps not sure, the smell was unpleasant) Lovely staff
