The waiters for breakfast very friendly helpful i asked on the 24th if thay could dress up in Christmas hats a clothing. Thay went one better and dressed as father Christmas with a big bag of sweets for the kids. And in the back ground Christmas music. Fabulous.

From the cleaner up to management the staff was amazing the rooms was cleaned every day so relaxing pool was clean and warm plenty areas and sunbeds available 3 mins walk to amazing kata beech 20 seconds from kata market and surrounding shops and amenities would definitely recommend this hotel

Amazing staff, great pool side rooms.
We stayed at this hotel twice during our stay in Thailand, at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. We chose to come back here as it suited our needs. It was close to everything, the pool access rooms were great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. On our return journey I unfortunately slipped and broke my knee cap. The staff couldn't have been more helpful over the next few days when I was incapacitated. They really helped make a very uncomfortable situation so much more pleasant. We wouldn't hesitate to return here on our next visit to Thailand.

Cheap, decent rooms, lack of diversity
Affordable, no frills hotel in a good location. We received an upgrade to one of the larger room, but this meant we didn’t have a pool access room. Nonetheless, we were happy with more space. The hotel overall seems old and has its damages, it could do with a lot of refurbishment. Maybe the hotel closed down during covid and is in the progress of bringing itself back to glory. It is also hard to find for some taxi drivers and could do with better signage. One key notes I’d make aware to future guests about the hotel and the overall area is the heavy influence and migration of Russians since the beginning of their political conflicts which has led to a major lack of diversification in tourists, and the saturation of the local Thai presence and feel. The hotel staff were friendly, especially Tong who met us, learnt our names and was very helpful during our stay.

The people were extremely friendly and the room was wonderful poolside. Conveniently Located across from the beach and right behind a wonderful market. I can't thank the staff enough for the wonderful job that they did. I wanted to tip all of them but there were so many of them I would have gone home broke

We really liked the property unfortunately half of the property is shut down due to covid the staff is super nice and very courteous did everything we asked them. I just wish more people visit this property help them out. I would certainty visit this property again.the best part of this property is just minutes walk from Kata beach.

Great staff. This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. The service and friendliness of the staff was wonderful! My only concern was that the Wi-Fi service was not very reliable as the connection was sometimes hard to get or dropped off every 15 seconds or so.

Peaceful hotel
We stayed as a couple in a pool access room for a few nights and found our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend pool access room if you are a couple as you will be further up the hotel and away from the kids in the main pool area, however if you a sun-worshipper then ensure you request a room with the balcony facing south otherwise you won't have any sun at all. The room was comfy and felt secure, with double locks on both the pool access and front door. Rooms good size. The majority of the guests are Russian couples, with a few families here and there, and we found all staff and other guests to be very friendly. Breakfast was fine, the usual stuff you get in Thai hotels really; egg station, rice soup, bacon and sausages (hot dog style) and fruit. There was also some slightly more odd breakfast options, such as stir fried noodles and pasta dishes. All of decent enough quality. One good thing about the hotel is that despite being in the centre of (the very overcrowded) Kata, it felt a million miles away from the hustle and bustle, being tranquil and peaceful. It was a 5 min walk to the (very overcrowded) beach and loads of markets and shops on the doorstep when you walk out in to Kata.

This property was in a great location - central to several markets and very close to the beach. The hotel model is very nice in that all the rooms open up to the public pool However, because it was an open model there were many mosquitos and even a lizard in our room. Staff was very nice and accommodating

Problems on arrival with room. Also when doing my search I wanted a hotel with complimentary airport shuttle and they came up but had no such service. Hotel was nice but has deferred maintenance issues. In current state it should not be a 4 star hotel.

Close to the beach, and a beautiful pool. We got upgraded at the resort which was so nice. The breakfast buffet was good, and the lobby was nice. The linens and the room was a but dirty but overall worth the stay.

1. Check in was good. The lady was nice. Check out was not. Different person. Asked for a bottle of water and was denied. The restaurant also did not serve a glass of water. Had to buy from outside. 2. Pool was good. The drinks were expensive. 3. hotel is old but if you like antique stuff you will like it there. a lot of use of wood was nice. 4. close to beach. has nice restaurants close by. 5. One of the beds had bad spring. so had to use single bed.

Definitely would stay here again
Happy with this hotel, we stayed four nights. Clean and comfortable. Good location and within walking distance of massage, food, beach, shopping. AC good, beds average comfort for Asia. Our rooms were a long walk from front of hotel though. We were all the way at the back of the resort. If I stay again, I will ask for a room closer to the front. We had a pool access room and a deluxe room. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Convenient hotel
The location is excellent, the beach can be accessed by crossing the road, there are lots of restaurants around the hotel, which provide good food with reasonable prices.

Some decor on the wall is very dusty. The place is full of mosquitos and I was bitten everyday badly to a point I had to buy from a dug store insect repeller. A second shower room was unnecessary and there is no window in it, allowing mosquitos in at night. I found out too late that this shower's door needs to be shut all the time. The window is next to bed and all rooms are on ground floor therefore no privacy unless you keep the blinds down all the time which makes the room too dark. I do not recommend this hotel.

Overall my stay was good. It was hard to communicate with receptionist as they do not speak English or understand it, which is odd for hotels. Staff is friendly and nice. Clean rooms but breakfast was bad. So I don't recommend eating at the hotel.

Very nice hotel in Kata beach.
Really nice stay and I enjoyed staying here very much. The hotel was a bit quiet in mid August which always guaranteed a quiet swimming pool. Room was brilliantly situated beside the pool. 100m -200m from the beach, would defo have stayed here again, in fact I came back to Kata beach and booked a higher standard of hotel and instantly regretted it!! If you can get out of bed in time, the breakfast is worth trying again...

This resort was good for the price. The staff in the breakfast room where lovely. The swimming pools are nice and the beds comfortable. The only problem was the incredibly loud noise from the frogs around the resort. I had to sleep with ear plugs.

pool side room review
Room 2/5 (due to privacy issue) room is nice, big, and clean. Bathroom was big with indoor and outdoor shower. However during day time are very dark with no natural light. If you open windows there will be 100% no privacy at all. It's a simple way to fix this problem, just install a blind at the window. I have read about this issue before my stay. Not sure why the hotel not consider fixing this issue. Another issue is the hotel have a lot of tree and water, mosquito everywhere even we try to close the door all the time. Should have consider provide a sleeping next to provide the mosquito issue Pool:3/5 very nice and big. However my issue is its close at 7pm. Most the time we on tour and won't back hotel till 5,6pm or even later. Not very happy with the pool hours. Other hotel we stay all close pool at 10pm Wifi: 1/5 really bad, we stay in 2 room, the poolside room lost connection nearly my whole stay. My friend stay in standard room cannot connect to wifi at all. They have to go to lobby and restaurant, pool area to use wifi. Location: close to beach and shop, restaurant. 400thai bath to Patong by taxi or tuk tuk. Staff 5/5we saw the cleaner staffs cleaning the hotel, around resorts all the time to keep clean and prevent the mosquito. However there many issue as I wrote above have put the resort down as these issue are easily to improve and fixed

Filthy disgusting place with ignorant staff
I stopped by the day before to check the place out. Unacceptable. Staff refused to allow me to see a room so I cancelled my reservation. They are trying to charge my card despite my cancellation and the fact I never set foot on the property again. Typical Phuket thieves and scumbags.

no worth it
rooms are big but smelly, furniture are really old, toilet has old equipment, walls are really thin you can heard absolutely everything is going on in the next room. Mosquitoes everywhere, staff is polite but they don't try to help you . Door locks are very dodgy. Beds are hard, good variety of channels on the telly and location is decent. 5 minutes walk to the beach but very noisy area. Hotel name in the door is Phuket Kata Resort as used to appear here.

I generally do not write reviews, but what happened to us at the end our our stay was so appalling, I could not rid the bad taste. Check In: We booked a one night stay for a late evening arrival before moving onto our next reservation the day after. There was no problem checking in as there seemed to be someone at the front desk at all hours. Property: Past the entrance you will see two large pools, open to six blocks of rooms. Overall the property is clean, but definitely outdated. It may have been the hottest resort on the block 10-15 years ago, but by today's standards, it is a good budget option at best. Room: We ended up with a pool view, which opens back the pool directly. The room itself was spacious, had an extra pull out bed, and the shower was just a compartment in the bathroom separated by a curtain. Again feels outdated. Each room has its own set of beach chairs and patio by the pool. If you do not have a pool view, it is separated by a walkway and may or may not have a fence. Service: We did not get a late check out, but at least they did allow us to leave our luggage with them, to pick up later. As we were leaving we asked if they had any water, and they had the nerve to tell us to go buy it from the restaurant on their property. Only thing is that the water cost 60 baht. No thanks. We walked down the block and got a bottle for 7 baht at 7 Eleven. Small things from a service (that you pay for) can make an experience, but in this case it broke ours.

We have recently implemented a strict fogging Mosquito schedule of the resort twice a month and notice our guest regards door and windows are closed properly at all time. And special treat in case guest informed.
