I loved everything about my stay, staff were adorable and very helpful room cleaned everyday & new towels when needed, food lovely too. I especially found Dean & Em were helpful & went above & beyond, they are an asset to your hotel.

Loved the location of this property, local to everything, Very clean. Staff all lovely. Breakfast menu not that clear so at first you think it’s just that, that is at tables however you can ask for pancakes, bacon eggs etc to be cooked individually

This hotel was fine. The landscaping was perfect and a VERY convenient location since the beach was right across the street. The bed was hard and the food for breakfast was not what I would have expected. There weren’t a lot of options but hey, it came with my stay and at least I could eat something. The receptionist went above and beyond even with me not being fluent in Thai and the spa staff were IMMACULATE!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff were unhelpful, lied to my boyfriend and I saying they were fully booked making us pay the most expensive price once we tried to extend our stay. There was nobody by the pool and it obviously wasn't full as we could see empty rooms. We wanted to extend our stay for a couple nights and the price was cheaper online ($32) so when we went to show the front desk so we could just pay it right away. They told us to just book it online for the cheaper price cause they couldn't do it at the front desk for some reason... Then when we went back to out room to book it the price magically went up to $98. I didn't realize and booked it and when we wanted to get a refund cause I can afford almost $400 for 3 more nights they said it was non refundable. We also didn't get breakfast which was ridiculous because I have no idea what I payed for. They also tried to charge us for beer that we replaced because it didn't have "tfv" written on-top. The staff didn't do anything to smooth over the situation or make us happy. Would never recommend staying here and hope karma gets them. I'm extremely disappointed and so glad to be out of there and in a new hotel.

Then, we offered you for special price, but you refuse and booked through online travel agent by yourself for Superior Room. So, we had to upgrade you to stay in Waterfront Deluxe which is higher category. By the way, you could see for the total price before you submit. However, we do apologize for any inconvenience may cause and thank you for sharing your comment, we will take these issue to improve our service.

They lied to our face. We payed 32 Canadian dollars for our stay. We payed online. We thought we could just extend our visit by paying cash but they said the rooms were completely booked, and if we want to stay it’s triple the initial price.. the rooms were all empty our entire stay. 👍 I don't like liars. We paid them, then the price went back down the next day. Never again. Also they don't speak good English.

I liked the picturesque swimming pool. The air-con was noisy. No waste paper basket in room -frustrating. Fridge beer 130 Baht ? - a BIG no no Staff fabukous.

I enjoyed the swimming pool and swim up bar. The proximity to Karon Beach is also really nice as it was walking distance. The restaurant attached to the hotel was okay in terms of food and service.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is clean and the staff is so nice. We recommend maybe upgrade the mattress they where very hard to lay on.

Great hotel just far enough away from the hectic tourist area, yet close enough to walk to restaurants and the beach. They did seem to run out of sunbeds very early and didn’t enforce their ‘no sunbed reservation’ rule so sometimes we missed out. Great breakfasts, but there needs to be a better system for ordering eggs!! Overall a good hotel and a pleasant stay (10 nights)

Good, for the money☺️☺️
Hotel was good, but my room was a 5 minute walk away from reception. No WiFi, as it was so far away. Room was superb, with a nice view. Breakfast was the best I have ever eaten, in Phuket!

It's not as nice as they say
The receptionist didn't speak good english, was not really friendly. When we asked if we could extend the stay to midnight and pay for a half, if not we just pay in full they said no more room but expedia said they still have room available. The room was nice but the hallway and the building were kind of old. Took days to answer email, not recommended for if you are looking for a place to relax or honeymoon.

Lovely hotel
Spent 4 nights here. Room was lovely and clean. Huge comfy bed. Lovely view from balcony, lake then the sea. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful especially the security guard who always had a smile and helped us cross the busy road. Good location, quiet but only few minutes walk to beach and 10 minutes walk to many bars, shops and restaurants. Loved chilling on the balcony. Would definitely stay here again if in Karon beach.

We used the front village to get some rest after staying at the village and not being able to get a late check out and having late flight out. It was comfortable enough. It is undergoing renovations so was a bit noisy. But all good.

Nice hotel near Karon Beach
We had a nice welcome when we arrived at the hotel. The room was comfortable and Aircon worked well. The buffet breakfast was not too exciting. The main downside of the hotel is that it is a bit of a walk to the beach and Karon centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other travelers.

I book this hotel as a real last minute thing. 20 minutes between booking and arriving to be precise. Reception staff were helpful and welcoming, as is the hotel. We had a ground floor room with a small balcony, right next to the swimming pool. The room was light and spacious with good air con and plenty of storage. The food there was good. Buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice, and evening meals had a good choice of local dishes. My entire experience of this hotel is positive, and would certainly recommend it to anyone, as worth a visit.

Okay Hotel - Amazing Pool but rooms lacked.
unfortunately the elevator broke when we stayed so had to walk down 5 flights of stairs each day. The bathroom wasnt that clean, moldy tiles and we had cold water most of the time - barely got a hot shower. The pool area is amazing though, great pool bar and set up with music (not too loud). In the rooms you can hear people in the hotel which can wake a light sleeper.

Nice but upgraded to a villa
I've stayed here before as the staff are great, the hotel is clean and the location is ideal. I did upgrade to a villa at the adjoining "Village" due to monsoon rains because the balconies at the Front Village have no shelter. Both facilities are value for money depending on your budget. Special recognition to the wonderful security guard at the front gate for his outstanding customer service!

Good place to stay but eat out.
Traveling for 6 months, stop over in Phuket. The price per night is very reasonable. Nice clean hotel with great swimming pool. The food however was pretty poor and very expensive. The first meal had a hair in it, although the manager was very apologetic and did not charge us. We decided to give it another go the following night but the standard was still very poor. I would recommend staying in this hotel but eating out.

Perfect hotel in Karon
Breakfast Buffet had a good selection and everything was very good. Rooms were clean, located in a quiet area even though it is on the main road. Attendants were very helpful making phone calls for us when pick ups were late (for tours).

A gem of a place for the price
we really enjoyed our stay at the Front Village Resort. Our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and a view of the ocean in the not so far distance. Its location was a short walk to the beach and the hub that is Karon. This is a very good three star rated resort. Breakfast was in a lovely setting and the buffet food was of a good quality. Our rooms were made up daily. And important to me was it had a great shower. The swimming pool was extremely nice with a swim up bar. Perfect. Small touches were appreciated like being able to test your basketball hooping whilst in the pool. And games to play if you wished with your drinking partner at the swim up bar. most staff had limited english. But enough to understand our requests. All in all 8out of 10 for this resort. Fantastic stay for the money. We were most impressed for the great price tag in the low season. Weather was superb. Sunny every day.

Fantastic, reasonably priced hotel
The hotel was fantastic. I was a little put off, while being escorted to my room, by the funky-looking pond on the other side. But my room! It was simply wonderful accommodation, lovely attentive staff, balconies facing the beach, meandering pool with a bar, great breakfast every morning, plus a great spa with on-site massages! I'll definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at the Front Village after a break of 4 years. We stayed for 15 nights. The whole of Karon including the Front Village is noisier than we remember but part of this perception may be because we are 4 years older (late 60's). We were a bit spoilt because our previous hotel (Khoa Lak) was superb but the rooms are a good size as is the bathroom & everything worked ---- could have done with more drawer space. The balcony was good & overlooked the pool but was spoilt by them playing over loud music at the pool bar, especially during happy hour. They charged a ridiculous price for the hotel WiFi so we just used our iPad in the beach cafes. The pool was good & we could always get sunbeds. The breakfast was of the buffet type with an egg station & run to a higher standard than normal --- nothing ever seemed to run out. In fact the staff throughout were very helpful & attentive.

Nice hotel, but because of the road, it was very dusty and loud. Also you should cross the road if you want to go to the beach or somewhere else and trafic is dangerous. Tours and taxy are very expensive in hotel. (In two-three times then outside) And we booked a room with one big bed, but they gave us a room with two separate beds. They gave us an option to move to the another hotel with one big bed in the room.

We stayed for 3 nights in October. The room was lovely, the staff were helpful. There was a large variety at breakfast with an egg station. The restaurant was considerably more expensive than the surrounding eateries so we only had the buffet breakfast. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the beginning of the shops in Karon. Although close to a lot of the action the hotel is situated on a busy road. We couldn't hear traffic in our room but the traffic noise did not make sitting by the pool so relaxing.

Staff could not have been more helpful
On arrival (even though 3days late arriving at midnight) staff were helpful and welcoming, ensuring that I had everything I needed before leaving me to get settled. The hotel layout is good, enough privacy without feeling cut off. Everything was clean and accessible. Separate towels provided for the pool, which has a friendly atmosphere. Location was fantastic. After spending a week in Phuket amongst hustle and bustle, Karon was a pleasant retreat with the usual bars, shops and restaurants only a few minutes walk. Taxis and tuk tucks across the road should you wish to venture further. The beach at Karon is nicely developed with only a single row of sun loungers and just a minimum amount of huts for drinks etc. pleasantly unspoilt with just what you need. None of the usual lookie, lookie people that you get at the busier beaches. Fantastic stay for me.

Beautiful Hotel near the Beach
I and my girlfriend where staying 3 nights at The Front Village and we thought the Hotel was nice. Nothing too fancy but above avarage in terms of hotel facilities (so 3-4 out of 5) . The Staff was very helpful and forthcoming with any question we had - so a big plus on that. I think this hotel is a great choice if you want to spend couple of days exploring Phuket whilest not paying too much for the accomodation. The room was clean and tidy. As many others said the matrasses are quite hard, but apparently all hotels are the same there.

The Hotel front-line staff (ladies at the reception) were friendly, helpful and had an amazing memory for rooms numbers and names. The ladies where great at helping to book tours. The restaruant staff (breakfast) were bright and breezy for first thing in the morning. They were fast and continuous with the coffee and tea. The back-line staff were friendly and almost invisable. Upon checking out (Night Porter and a Male duty manager)- I was charged for mini-bar items that I didn't comsume (being water, and the fact that I was given two bottle of water each day, so had no need to use the water from the bar - amused me in that they couldn't see why I was resistant to accept the charges.) I was also going to be charged for missing "lolly bags".......mmmmm... not lollies in the mini bar that I could remember - but apparently not there anymore...... (turns out that "lolly bags" is actually "laundry bags" - a strange thing for a person to take??) All of this left a bad taste upon leaving the hotel.
